yo i came in expecting a decent movie and was blown away this movie is great

need more drift action :pimp: and wow lockdown was awesome
 
Alright I watched the movie......and I ain even mad.


The Mark Wahlberg/Daughter/useless boyfriend stuff was terrible like I expected, but at least they kept that to a bare minimum.

Stanley Tucci knew what the deal was and was hamming it up in his role and Li Bing Bing was :pimp: as always.

To my surprise...there was almost NO MILITARY ACTION. Seriously I was :wow: at the amount of transformers action. The Dinobots were wasted and pretty much an afterthought in the movie though :smh:

Overall, I didnt hate it like i did for Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon...and it might be my favorite out of all the movies, but that isn't saying much

Aged Welker voice as Galvatron was sick, I watched the entire Transformers Prime show, so I expected the same.
Probably watch it again later on.
 
I enjoyed every minute of it. The Asian broad was boring until she started kicking *** lol.

The rally car was sweet. I prolly liked that car out of all the cars in the movie lol.

I wonder if that was a Quints hand firing the metalic terraforming of earth at the very beginning of the movie on the ship?

Also, when lockdown said some along the lines of "you humans think you're the center of the universe...you have no idea" made me think he was possibly hinting unicron...

drift was a triple changer. 

i imagine most of yall never watched g1  from the 80s because you would of questioned everything 100x more.

Yeah I thought it was super random that Drift (the samurai Autobot) had two alternate modes. Like he was in his helicopter mode for 2 seconds for the entire movie...what was even the point?
 
This was the worst movie I've ever seen. Micheal bay has effectively made characters we don't care about with the transformers. There are no background stories to these new auto bots so why should we care about them? The action was so all over the place it was pointless.

The Mark Wahlberg daughter thing was terrible.

Last but not least we are 4 movies in to the same crap. Optimus wins a fight, loses badly, gets helped by a human and decapitates his enemy. I mean seriously?!?!

@ anybody who paid to see this being mad like Micheal bay movies aren't ALL the same. Especially if you saw ANY of the 1st 3 transformers movies.

The only thing the films have in common with G1 are the name, factions and the leader of each respective factions and bumblebee. Everything else is a joke. I've seen every transformer film in theaters and each time I'm more shocked that Bay can not give any ***** about actual Transformer lore. Like he could actually follow some G1 story arcs and make a good film. He could follow the mini-con saga from Armada and make a great film. So many stories....and yet he rather give us a geriatric Jetfire :smh:

as far as lore, yeah, you're right. but i gave up on the movies following g1 storylines after the first movie. its a joke it took them 4 movies to let frank welker, who did an awesome job might i add, do megatron.

as far as the movies its like dude its a transformers movie. people want to analyze and overthink everything. dude, its a movie about cars transforming into robots.

4 films in and that shtick is getting old. In 2007 a car turning into a robot was like watching Jurassic Park for the first time. It was special, Spielberg cosign and everything. The plot didn't have to make sense, they gave us a red and blue peterbilt truck with Peter Cullen's voice. They got a pass on everything else.

Now it's stagnant and everything they're including is just to say they did it. The special FX weren't even the best in the series for this film. I feel used. :lol:

hopefully they take it back to cybertron and base the movie there with the quints+unicron. the short clips theyve shown of cybertron have looked great imo. would be nice to have a movie without all the lame, cheesy human storylines although i can see bay figuring out a way to get the humans into space
