Just moved to SF from the east coast. Looking to find some good, reliable runs, preferably outdoors, although they may be asking a bit much considering the typical weather up here. Thanks in advance

They're not outdoor courts, but a few decent gyms are Upper Noe, Keezar, and Palega.

I play at SportsClubLA on Market 3-4x a week. We get some solid runs in. Mondays & Tuesdays are particularly busy.... roughly 12-20 heads on either night.

I gotta check this out.

most visiting NBA teams seam to stay next door at the Four Seasons. saw the Cleveland Cavaliers practice here and Varejao & Gibson walking around outside

Other random people that have been spotted here: Drake, Dave Chappelle, etc.

Place is bank ($175/month), if you don't have a corporate discount!

24 Hour Fitness at Hilltop Mall in Richmond.  Lights stay on until 12am.  If you stick around, lights go back on at 3am lol...that's if you hardcore!

Anyone hooping in the San Jose area? Looking to get some run in. Ill be there for the next 2-3 weeks. Be cool to run with some NT brethren. Pm me

Ortega park in Santa Clara has a nice court but its only 1.  Lights stay on until 10:30.  Another one along Fair Oaks by Kings Academy school (3 courts there till about 10:30)

There's also one along Campbell Ave and Winchester.  Courts are crappier but there's 2 courts and always plenty of people around there.

What days are the runs for these gyms?

I'm also looking for places to ball in SF! Preferably indoor for me though!
I'd like to know too. Getting bored, playing 3-on-3 at the 24hr Fitness on Ocean. People take those games WAY too serious. I miss playing full court and being out of breath. lol.

Dunno if you've heard of the app, "SPOTS".  It's free in the itunes app store and it's prolly the best thing I've used for finding/ starting pick up games no matter where you're at.

For indoors in SF I hoop at minnie and lovie ward recreation center. Alright spot and it's usually open on weekdays all day. Also Mission Rec runs full if there's enough people.
