Sorry guys, like I said last week, my work schedule is insane right now.

Tonight's Raw is the go home show for Survivor Series this Sunday night.  Right now for Survivor Series we have:
  • CM Punk (c) v John Cena v Ryback
  • Team Ziggler: Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow v Team Foley: Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, Kane, and ??? (Possibly The Miz turning babyface)
  • The Big Show (c) v Sheamus
Probably one or two more matches tonight, probably involving Sin Cara/Mysterio and the Primetime Players.

For Raw tonight, we have the return of Jerry The King Lawler.  While I'm happy he's healthy enough to return, I really enjoyed the Cole/JR commentary combo, and I am not looking forward to Lawler being back on the mic.  It will be a three man booth tonight with JR, but it's likely his last show.  Right now, Survivor Series will be called by Cole, Lawler, and JBL.

Brad Maddox will face Ryback.  If Maddox wins, he gets a $1 million contract from Vince McMahon.

CM Punk will face John Cena in a non title match.

So guys one of my good friends is turning 30 in a couple weeks and he's a massive Randy Savage fan, so I want to get him a wrestling ring cake made up for it.

I just need some help or reference images in regards to what was on the aprons during the late 80s WWF days as I'm not that knowledgable about that era.

Was it just the big old WWF logo or were they blank? Even ring ropes and turnbuckle colours would be cool to know.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.


In other news, I haven't watched RAW in a couple weeks and now that King is back I don't really want to watch this week either.
 
- The latest rumor on the location for WWE’s WrestleMania 30 pay-per-view in 2014 is the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana – the home of the NFL’s New Orleans Saints.

The massive Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas and the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City were previously rumored and they still could be involved in the negotiations but aren’t likely choices. New reports state that Los Angeles also has a bid in to host WrestleMania 30 but the feeling is that WWE will continue to keep just SummerSlam in Los Angeles.

It’s not known which city WWE is leaning toward but talks are ongoing with officials from several major cities.






- It’s believed WWE is getting at least $100,000 per week for the new Main Event TV show on the Ion Network. This figure is believed because they were getting that much for Superstars before it left regular TV. They are also getting paid between $60,000 and $75,000 per week for Saturday Morning Slam and around $175,000 for the new third hour of RAW each week.











- Triple H is apparently among many that are hoping that Sting might pass on renewing with TNA when his contract expires at the end of the year.

According to a source, WWE would like to present Sting with a multi-faceted licensing deal which would include incorporating him into their Mattel deal and home videos. It would also likely include an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Signing Sting to a deal is apparently not a high priority for Vince McMahon, whereas Triple H is said to hold Sting in high regard.









- Randy Orton is reportedly in line for a big push within the next 6 months or so. The idea is to build him back up over the next few months.
 
Survivor Series is looking like an EZ-Pass right now, especially with the potential of buying the UFC the night before. Can someone change my mind?

Nope.

I'm in the same boat.

Depends on who Foley is getting for his last team member, but it will most likely be a letdown.
 
So...there's this blog on tumblr called 'wwewrestlingsexconfessions', and to say it's a bit weird is an understatement. But I have been in tears reading some of that stuff cause it seems like NTers are writing these :lol:

I'm going to Survivor Series Sunday. I'm a lot less excited about this than I was a month ago.
 
Speaking of Jerry Lawler, on WWE '13 he has this almost eerie commentary when Eve wrestles that goes: "I need to keep an EMT near me in these Eve matches. Every time I see her my heart skips a beat."
