Billy King joins The Vertical Podcast

On the doorstep of Allen Iverson’s enshrinement into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, former Philadelphia 76ers GM Billy King joins Adrian Wojnarowski on The Vertical Podcast to go inside the legendary guard’s persona and career.
King delivers incredible insight and storytelling into the tumultuous and triumphant Sixers run with Iverson. SI Media Podcast: Featuring ESPN NBA analyst Hubie Brown | SI.com http://www.si.com/nba/2016/03/21/si-media-podcast-hubie-brown

Welcome to episode No. 47 of the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast with Richard Deitsch. In this podcast, which is published weekly, Deitsch interviews members of the sports media about their work and interesting people about the sports media. This week’s podcast guest is ESPN NBA analyst Hubie Brown, who has worked in NBA broadcasting for more than three decades.

In this episode, Brown discusses his broadcasting style and how he watches a game, who he learns from in today’s game, how he prepares for a broadcast, how he feels about the advanced metrics in the game, his relationship with the late Dr. Jack Ramsay, why the 1975 Kentucky Colonels (featuring Hall of Famers Dan Issel, Louie Dampier and Artis Gillmore are perennially underrated), how he handles travel at age 82 (hint: limousines), his favorite broadcasters to work with, and much more.

In one of the best parts of the podcast, Brown goes in-depth on what he would do as a coach to try to slow down Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

Is it out?

I don't think that Zepps podcast with Hannibal and Sam Harris has dropped yet. Think it's still up in the air cause it was such a **** show

Zepps is always dope on Rogan though. They went super deep when they got into his ayahuasca trip :smokin

Drink Champs is some of the best **** ever, especially if you're a 90s/2000s rap fan. Classic interviews.

This was on point man. Both guests

Dennis Scott and Larry Brown

Joining Chris Mannix on The Vertical this week for a Hall of Fame edition is Dennis Scott and the great Larry Brown. Classic Kicks podcast is up on iTunes. There's some pretty solid interviews up right right now. Interesting to hear about the first steps for Sneaker Freaker and SNS.

Not this episode, but the last time he was on Rogan's show was a damn good show. Is this new one anywhere near that level?

It was pretty good if you're talking about his last Rogan appearance. He was drunk, so dude was super honest.

Kinda not looking forward to listening to this after I heard what they're discussing and what stance Zepps and Hannibal take, honestly.

The Zepps podcast wasn't the train wreck Joe made it out to be. Hannibal was in his feelings and actually reminded me of a couple Nters.
It's understandable especially since drinking was involved.
