I NEED for swizz to OK that patent blue retro... I had them joints in like 6th grade, KILLIN IT in the jr high hallways. Got them off the clearance rack too but most kids weren't up on that sneakerhead steez back in 96-97.

Those aren't releasing.....are they??

I have no clue, but I hope that those and the white/red og colorway are in the mix.

Sidenote: Anybody remember or have pictures of the Denver Nuggets colorway that was on ebay a while back? :nerd:

It is rumors that the DMX run ten doesn't have the DMX cushioning, so it could be a possibility that these don't have it smh... I have never felt DMX cushioning and one of the reasons why I love these Iversons was because of what people told me about DMX cushioning.. This could of been my first time ever seeing how they truly feel..

It's like nothing else. I might even put it above zoom air as my favorite cushioning system.

I was actually contemplating getting the run 10's because I loved the Answer's soo much when I had them. I don't understand why they won't bring this back! I'm sure it's not too difficult to reinforce their airbags to prevent leakage.

From what I've read, it's because they don't have the rights to it anymore.  DMX wasn't created by Reebok, but was created by someone else and Reebok simply had rights to use the technology and put the name on it...

In other words, it will never come back.....

Interesting...

I haven't seen it in any other shoes either. I would think that it would be more valuable as a licensed technology to Reebok than using it for your own product line since they are so large. The implementation and style of most of the shoes that used DMX10 were great! Since it's been 15 years since DMX came out, hopefully the patent on the technology expires soon so they can use it again instead of making imitation shoes.

I'm with ya there, but doesn't look too promising since Reebok has retired their basketball line temporarily (hence why they're throwing away their garbage leftover material and taking advantage of nostalgia by releasing these crappy retros).....

Being from Philly these were all I would rock in middle school cuz Jordans were too expensive.

Just copped this pair off eBay last night.

Can't wait for a new black pair, keeping my 10 Yr anniversary on DS

This colorway better get a retro...If they do I'm in for 2 or 3 pairs without a second thought...

I had those exact ones growing up. I hope they implement the DMX tech in these. If not its a bust, thats what made the shoe so great to begin with!
You had which exact ones growing up?  Those black/reds are a new colorway.  Either way, I can't wait for these to come back.

  Peace,
