Mixtape: Joe Budden - A Loose Quarter

Words From A Chameleon is terrible but the rest of this tape is :smokin It's weird to hear Joe Budden with good production and good quality. It's almost like he's a normal rapper now :lol:
 
Off 2 the races :x :smh:

I think he destroyed shorty more on ' Under the Sun ' though
 
Gave this a listen this morning and I wasn't really feeling it all. Budden's still spits but average at best production and a ton of weak hooks throughout the project.

I hope this is true when I listen to it, cause I'm not a fa of AraabMuzik, and beats have been a problem for Budden more often than not
 
the only negative think I have to say about this tape is that there are too many R&B hooks and too much Emmany period, other than that I enjoyed the tape.

I don't know what you guys are listening to but aside from a few tracks I don't care for this. I used to be a HUGE Budden fan to. I actually bought his debut album the day it released back in 03 >D. I still appreciate Joe, but to me his tracks just don't stand out as much anymore.
 
It's ok, son has been a different rapper the last 2-3 years.

Second half is definitely better
Emanny should not be on a single record
Way too many features and terrible features.

I think twitter has really ****** his head up. It's got him rapping differently. Oh well, MM2 will always be my favorite record of all time. MM3 was real nice too. MM4 was where it started to drop off.

The story about his father is the type of deep soul searching stuff that very few can successfully put on a track

As for other posts I disagree, I like Emanny on his songs. They have a good report and flow well together..

With that being said... The songs where the hook is meaningful from Emanny >>>>>>>>>>>>>> the girl hooks.

Budden came out with two songs this week about Tahiry, which makes it look less like "she still in love with me and doesn't want to let go"

Still dope songs none the less :lol:
