Tape is fire. This Trev Rich guy killed his song here too, anyone got more heat from him?
 
couldn't really get into this tape. and this is coming from someone whos old username was Moodmuzik ..

idk just something about it dont have the desire to listen again. same thing with moodmuzik 4.

I think twitter has really ****** his head up. It's got him rapping differently. Oh well, MM2 will always be my favorite record of all time. MM3 was real nice too. MM4 was where it started to drop off.

I'm not always in the "mood" to listen to Joey but he's hella consistent and has something to say.

Gonna give this a few listens.
 
Thought it was pretty solid. He's on fire as far as lyrics go, but a lot of the beats just don't have that punch that I guess I was expecting. More of a consistent type production throughout more than true standout stuff. Pain Won't Stop, So Hard, and What Ya'll Want are my faves, with More of Me and Through My Eyes being dope as well. One thing I have to say is if you're a fan of rap/hip hop, I don't really see how you could hate him. He raps his *** off all the time, he just has Game syndrome where his personal life nearly takes precedent over his rhymes.

You really think so? I thought Joey bodied it.

I agree with one of the other post regarding too much Emanny, the only time I wanna hear dude all over a tape is if they drop a SLV tape.

Definitely Too much Emanny But i haven't really been into Budden since Padded Room

and i actually feel bad for saying this but his music is going to suffer from it. Buddens best attribute is showcasing emotions and feelings to his listeners.... That will get real repetitive if every song has a mention about his girl and his happiness
 
tyisny that reminds me of keyshia coles album a couple years ago when she first started seeing daniel gibson. since she was at a happy period in her life, her fans werent wanting to hear that from her. pretty sad when u sit back and really look at that.

Not that i won't listen because i still think joey is good but when your an artist so heavily tied into your emotions being happy is kind of a hindrance to your music. He isnt the type to talk about his wealth, street life etc etc for the whole song. His concepts in the past have been ill so he still has that. but that Raw emotion and anger that he had is gone
 
I will admit that I really slept on this dude... Havnt stopped playing this mixtape yet.. Lol... What's some good older mixtapes to Grab ?
