Calvin Johnson's Megatron Inspired CJ81 Collection: Release Info

Nike likes to release random awesomeness like this in the markets in where the fans aren't even there and just give re-sellers the opportunity to murder dudes on the prices on ebay to cats who are real fans of the Lions or Calvin in general. I want the hoody but I'm not paying more than retail for a Therma-FIT hoody.
 
For those that were bashing Champs (and our website)...  NIKE determines release dates/times/places...  Champs has nothing to do with it.  The reason the website was jacked yesterday is everyone wanted BRed IV's, thus the volume on the site was too much.  I simply called Champs and was able to easily place my order for the Fly's (and no, its not because I am an employee).

FYI

The apparel/socks/hats will show up in a small way in Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn sometime early next week...

This store and Willowbrook Yardline will be the only two Champs stores that will have this product...

I agree with the Michigan statement.  We get nothing.  The Lunar TR1 Megatron we had no shot at.  Also just saw that the socks are sold out online now too.  I checked this morning and they weren't there and just looked and already sold out.  Probably no limit so someone bought them all.  I hate releases like this.  Release them on the correct date
 
gloves still on champs but i really wanted the socks...i hope i can get lucky enough to get the hoodie when it drops
 
What a crock. We were told repeatedly yesterday on twitter that when the socks dropped everyone would be notified on twitter. It's on Champs now. At least give a fair shot for people to buy them. I can understand if it sold out in a regular sale.
 
 
I usually don't complain about Nike but this CJ81 release has been horrible. They tell you the items will be one place and it never shows up, then you change dates and drop stuff randomly. I'm just looking for a Hoody in XL and some socks looks like I'm out of luck.
 
By the way, I can tell you I've been on hold for 18 minutes now. I guarantee I'm not the only person calling in to complain/ask questions.
 
I just want the socks though.

Just got off the phone with someone from Champs. Will be restocked on the 30th for online and phone orders.

Just got further clarification from someone at Champs on their live chat. She said that they are having issues with the site and suggested that none have been sold yet and that the site saying sold out is simply an error. She said no guarantees they'd drop today but that it's possible. Also confirmed they are on backorder for more to drop.

Guess Im just going to have to sit here at work the next 4 hrs on their website incase they pop up.

Like I mentioned, she said no guarentee. I'd recommend trying to web chat them yourselves just to double check. The girl on the phone I spoke to seemed to think they were gone.
 
That hoodie is to dope, but i only want the huaraches, I got the socks coming in the mail
