NIKE Barkley Posite max

Absolutely no one there to get the Suns this morning with me, I figured they would be really popular but with the $235 price and the restock people must be passing.  Fine by me, these are a great shoe.
Same here. I didnt notice during the day, but the 3M on the scales is off the hook. I advise people on the fence to purchase these while they are still available. I returned my second pair to footlocker.

got the suns like everyone in here

Good for you ! Go after what you like, not what the consensus says ! I seen a lot of people fold and show their true colours without even realizing it ! No one can say this shoe is ugly, I grabbed the 72. Same design and silhouette. The only thing that's holding me back is the strong one colour. I love the scales, design and all. I just wish it was like a black upper or something. For me that's a reach, I have a lot of kicks. My 72 is the busiest design, at least majority is black tho. So I am trying to picture this.

Because its a $200 shoe at most. Not $235

Now that I can completely agree with ! Nike is losing their brain with pricing now ! Setting new precedence all together. They are definitely overpriced, but so was a lot of other pairs I can list. I definitely think price and colour plays the major role. If they balanced the purple out, it would have worked. I know that's the only thing holding me up !

No doubt the re-stock played a part in these still being available, but I think there's more to it than that.

The Area 72s were in demand thanks to that All Star Hype machine, which is serious.

I think the Cloaks went fast because that template is hot, not to mention still pretty new, so the novelty hasn't worn off yet.

The Sixers didn't go quite as fast as the first two, but a bit faster than the Suns, it seems. Maybe that's largely the re-stock, or maybe the purple is just too much for some guys.

And of course the price has to be a factor. Not everyone wants to drop $1500 on six pairs of shoes.

It'll be interesting to see how quickly the last two move. Hopefully not too fast!

I think the biggest reason they'll move off the shelves slower is because tax season is over and the amount of irrational purchases people make lesson over the course of the year. I intend on copping the last 2 colorways and really only expect the silver pair to be hyped.

As far as numbers I know around here stores had a lot less pairs of all stars and sixers. Most stores I went to had at least 2 size runs of cloaks and suns.

passed on these and it's not because I think the shoe is too loud, it's just the purple on this shoe not really feeling it, the whole scale theme is dope IMO, but that color purple just throws it off for me

if you wanted these and got them congrats, as for me i've only purchased the 72s and will be going for those blue speckle joints coming out soon, love that colorway

Well i went to pick up mine but the seem area on the nubuck was saturated with glue on EVERY pair at two different stores. No ways I was dropping $250 on that. Looked like someone spilled water on them.

and the Cement 3 '88s are $160 the most not $200|I  it didn't even last a minute online

I agree with that 100%. Nike is testing out prices right now to see where the consumer will "stop". I'd rather pay $200 for a JORDAN, than $235 for a Barkley though. I'm sure most people would agree with that.

Well considering the quality on these 88s, the $200 was not well spent.. Creases right out the box, strands of thread sticking out, easily scuffed.

I'd rather pay 235 for something foam based than 200 for the retros JB has been putting out recently. Granted I'm not paying over 200 for much of anything sneaker based, but if we're making the JB/NSW comparison that's where I stand.
