Andis t liners are the best, just adjust the blades to get a crisper cut.

And for the back of the head just have a mirror on the wall, and a mirror in your hand and edge yourself up like that.

i copped 2 sets of the promate blades for my Andis T-outliners a while back. The 1st set lasted a long time so I barely switched them out for the 2nd set.

The clipper seems to be working fine but it doesnt seem to be cutting at all. What could be a possible problem/solution?

My old barber used to line up my beard with a flat tipped trimmer tool.. ive been trying to find something similar.

what i mean by flat tipped is that it had no perforations or slits, it was one smooth solid piece.. anyone know what im talkin bout?

I copped the wahl hero and they hit to hard, anyway of them not hurting that much while linin up. I

I'm always contemplating buying a new set of edgers, but then I realize I'm only using them 5-6 times a week so no need for new ones.
Definitely going to invest in the pro-mate blades.
Yall keep mentioning them so it's time to make that transition.

Pro-mates are the ones I need then, because I cut my sons hair and don't need anything too sharp.
I really need to buy the t-outliner for me and just use the t-edger set I have for my boys.
But I'm going to change the blades on the t-edgers first because that may be all I really need to do.

Yeah, promates are at the line of closeness and comfort. It's worth it to me, the bad reviews are from guys who expect that ultra closeness but comfort as well. Won't happen, you'll need some skill for any sharper than that.

At first glance the Pro-mates might not fit the t-edjers.
Gotta do some more research to make sure.

other day I changed my normal outliner blade out for the promate T-blade, it's really nice, and it's a little easier lining up the front/back. they come basically zero-gap stock so that's good too, cuts sharp.

Standard t-edjer blade is decent, but it's a huge difference between them and t-outliner.
I was being cost effective when I bought, and didn't realize the extra money for the outliners was worth it.

Is there any clippers that flourish with no guard? I use a wahl professional now which is ok but is there something better?

Classic 76 and swap out the factory blade with a 1.5 blade. Will run you close to $150 but perfect if you have waves.

No waves. I'm just a white dude who's too lazy to line it up so I just take it all off.

i'm assuming the outliner has a stronger motor/volts. aren't they same price on amazon? unless you got the cordless.

stork stork the outliner is noticeably heavier and is better for edge ups.
I've had mine for a couple of years now and they were cheaper back then.

As long as it gets the jobs done.

I bought the outliners because every barber that cuy my hair used them, so I had to assume they were money

I am looking for a trimmer that comes with the guards to trim my hair to a light caesar or a 1.

My friend recommended Wahl Designer (red machine) or Andis Master Fade (silver metal machine).. these are priced around $60-$100.. are these my best options? Honestly, my main use for these trimmers will be to trim my beard down to a 1 (very light)

Week 3 of cutting hair. This was done on a good friend who lives up the block from me. Now I know the sideburn taper needs a little more fading but I can see major improvement from a few weeks ago. Feel's good yall. Shoutout to YouTube tutorials tho'

I'm a big fan of the oysters

This

From reading reviews and watching videos I thought they would sound like a lawn mower with exhaust and weigh more than a barbell. Definitely wasn't the case. They float through hair like it's NOTHING. The bulkiness isn't even a factor. I'm definitely buying some fast feed's next

Need a clipper for cutting and fading. Trying to learn how to do my regular temp fade. Andis master is what I'm learning towards. Any other recommendations?

Also any good vids or tips on learning to blend hair?
