Just need my 9.5 to wear so they can join my air max family glad these coming out right before the summer need to check my local finishline soon. It would've been nice to have the AM1s OG before the summer with these my neon95s, infrared 90s, menthol93s, BW91s, and Amp hyperblues but oh well

I have same feeling I feel like they already got the ultra forms of the silver and gold already in production for ppl who who are gonna missed the OG on the 15th and possibly new CWs

$175 is a lot for these no? Weren't the last retroes in 2012 $150?

I ran in the original ones back in 97. Any reason why I couldn't run in these new retros? Are they actually inferior to the original ones from a performance standpoint? I realize they won't be as good as UBs, Flyknit Racers, Lunars or basically any running shoe from the past 10 years, but so what.

From what I know all Nike retroes are not made for performance they are categorized as sportswear. Air units are not the same psi but i don't know how that would affect performance. Material-wise maybe a more educated sneakerhead can chime in. I wouldn't run in them. There are hundreds of running shoes out there from various brands.

^ where did you hear about the different psi? I don't know why they would change that.
As for the materials... if it's similar to other Nike/JB retros, it's likely that the materials themselves are of a lower grade

^ with how small the air bubbles are nowadays, I think it's safe to say they aren't being inflated to 25psi
It's been that long already? Crazy how time flies, yea they were part of the vintage pack that released in late '12. But for the price to jump that high after only 5 years? I don't know about inflation
