Yeah, it's a bit naive to make declarations about how people who missed out must've been lazy, incompetent, whatever. None of us know everyone else's situation. I was in a meeting this morning when these dropped. I don't get to stop a work meeting--especially one I'm running--so I can go back into my office and shop for sneakers. I was able to have lunch early so I popped into the nearby mall (I'm in L.A.) before noon and every store was sold out. Footlocker got 24 pairs. Somehow my girl managed to grab me a pair at a Shiekh somewhere, where they claimed to have received a total of four pairs. Not sure how that makes sense, but OK. The idea that something is an "easy cop" as long as you can be online or physically present at a store the moment they release might be realistic for one person, but it's not always realistic for everyone.

Strolled into Kings Plaza about 10:45 copped my pair easy.. got the last 10.5.. went up to FA and they only had their GS pairs and were/are supposed to get their men's pairs today if they have not already I was told.. but that was at around 11 am

I wear sz13 so I knew even though others said these would be easy, to plan accordingly....
when the fnl jig was first posted here I went and tried for myself( I live in no mans land so it required a 45min trip each way) and got shot down my a young female who looked at me like I was an idiot.....
luckily @dragicon was able to secure me a sz13 from his store....
even with this knowledge I didn't feel safe....
tried every spot that had them early last wk...LLLLLLLz
woke up @3am and tried sns....L
snkrs @10 on mine, wifes & my sons account.... L/L/L
every footsite/champs/eastbay.....LLLLLLz
if not for a fellow NT'r I'd be left w/just my $$$
