Official Air Max 97 Thread

Struck out online this morning.

Walked in to sheikh at a quarter til 5. Easy.

Guy said they only got 1 of each size. Only 2-3 left.
 
This release was pretty strange, a few local spots had them for different retail prices, some were $160.00 and some places had them for more. Most places, if not all, had no GS sizes. Easy cop though, hoping golds will be too.

I'm here for the Scotchlite!


 
Scooped a pair early this morning. Went to a Champs in NYC, was like 10th in the line -- think there ended up being like 40 heads.

Was hoping to double up online, but wasn't able to. Might have a chance to get another pair slightly above retail this weekend or next week though.
 
Shopify had sites that had stock sitting for several minutes. As soon as Nike and the other major retailers ran out after 10am, boutiques started getting cleaned out :smh:
 
Struck out online. Local FTA didn't even receive their pairs until this afternoon. Grabbed the last pair there and it happened to be my size. :smokin

Fashion changes with time. When you got your 08s on sale everyone wanted J's. Flash fwd to 17 and it's the opposite. Everyone is into athletic streetwear. The states are trying to be like EU and it sucks because this has been my style forever and I'm stateside.

Kickitnyc had them for 200$ this am w/a fsr

around 10:15am the price jumped to 260$ smh

rn they have a sz8 & sz12 for 220$

places like that are the worst. Take advantage of people for an extra 60$ then drop the price 40$ later in the day smh.

Why not just price them at 220$ and move them all instead of yo-yoing the price for a few extra $?

I have no clue, I can't speak for him and how he does business, I'm just saying it's not like it's extra butter flip flopping prices or something :lol:

just saying I hate to see people miss out no matter how limited the release and these joints should've been easy

Yea Nike making **** limited again to drive hype up. These should be available for $110 at every store in a few months and collect dust on shelves
 
It is what it is.

runners are the wave rn and until it moves on to the next thing any retro runner w/any type of history will be snatched up by the beasts.
 
After a complete day of wear, these are pretty comfortable for me!!! Definitively a nice beater

damn !!! just went through 20 pages in this thread, seems like the S-B 97s release was pretty difficult to get, hopefully it will be different when the atlantic blues and the black neon 97s drop, im not really in the mood for all that BS
