I hope no one relies on size for this release. It's dropping online and in Manchester and London only think. Staff there known for buying up all the stock and reselling and the website always goes into meltdown for a big release
 
My b-day is on the 21st next week, so if I can buy them the same week

Has there been any hint of a release stateside?  I know some boutiques like Kith had a few a month or two back but that's all that I knew of.  I don't think I'll be able to order from Nike UK.

my guess is that we'll see a drop in the US around air max day (3/26). whether it's before, during or after is anyone's guess, but it'll be soon.
 
So do we know how limited this will be? Because there's no reason for it to be. The recent neon 95 and infra 90 packs were widely available

Heard V limited. Size? employee in Manchester said around 80 pairs on their system distributed between the London and Manchester store

I won't even bother in that case. They'll be on eBay within minutes for triple the price.

Might be true but my experience is that shop employees usually either don't have the slightest clue what they're talking about, or just making something up to boost up potential sales. Or both.

Very true in most instances. He said they already have their delivery in and it's looking limited and didn't seem like the type to care about boosting sales etc lol

terrible mentality that is so pervasive in sneakers and streetwear.

could care less about what the next man has on...just wanna be able to get mine hassle free.

If it's not true it could well be that they want to suggest much more limited numbers than there are so they can buy up themselves and eBay them. Size employees are notorious for that with limited Adidas spzl / city series type releases for instance.

Lool chill out bro. I couldn't care less about what a next man has on either. But if every next man has the same pair on then 97s will start to lose their exclusivity and I may aswell start rocking no fears
