The Tesla Motors Appreciation Thread

-Once Tesla sells 200,000 vehicles, the next calendar quarter will be the last quarter that new Tesla owners will be eligible for the full tax credit of $7,500. After that, new Tesla owners will be eligible for only 50% of the tax credit, then just 25%, and eventually nothing over a 15 month time frame.

- Musk announced via twitter he is re-doing the front grille, and that the interior is still unfinished. He tweeted when they are done with the interior it will feel like driving a "spaceship"

Looking to see how it performs

i would expect the man who founded a company that makes actual space ships to have a higher standard than what the average joe considers spaceshiplike

At least the frunk doesn't look like it'll crease easily unlike the Model S.

Being made of steel instead of aluminum will also cut down repair costs considerably since simple fender benders on the Model S could costs upwards of $30k+ to repair.

how much for a full charge on this thing?

What do you mean how much?

How much does it cost?

I pay about $50-60 extra in my electricity a bill a month vs $300+ in premium gas before (I'm in California though)

If you're talking about range, they said it will be 215 miles but could be higher by the time they actually release it due to advances in technology.

If I could change one thing I'd make the cabin slope slightly into the back instead of just ending so abruptly

I can already see repair costs going up a lot more.

I read how people had to pay a couple hundred to replace the nose cone when they got in minor accidents but now since it's the bumper it'll prolly cost $15,000+

I also have to bring my Model S back in this week to fix the air conditioning again :smh:
