Nike Footscape Woven Thread.

I ended up grabbing all 3 Footscape Desert colorways. Saint Alfred had them for $88, and I stumbled on a good deal on NDC the other day. I'm surprised these lasted as long as they did. I wonder what people don't like about these. I initially thought it was the price until price drops started to hit retailers left and right.

$88 is the price that gets you in the door. They ended up being $105 shipped. I only paid $115 for them on NDC. Good price compared to the $180 they were originally asking for. I feel you though. I personally dig them though, so it was only right. I knew pricing had a lot to do with it.

Idk what I may have said about those prior to what I'm about to say about them now but they suck. There is just something wrong looking and feeling about the shoes when you have them on. Almost like they tried to go the premium route but just like her "I love you's" their straight faux. I have two color ways, wish I had to two betties instead, and I def jumped the gun.

Yo, I can honestly see where you're coming from. However, I do like the way they look; especially on feet. My only issue with them is how they feel on feet. I have space in the shoe, but the tongue presses down on the top of my foot like crazy! I hope they loosen up a bit after I break them in. 

Honestly, I wouldn't have purchased them if it weren't for the markdowns. The black cw is my favorite but I was tempted to grab the other two which caught my eye. So yeah. They're a happy fam now lol.

Welp, count me out for those.  If 2 of you are saying they're uncomfortable, I'm good.  The main draw for me to Footscapes is comfort.

The tightness in the tongue/lace area is weird. For example, you get your true size and you will feel the tightness but you will have space in the toe area. So lets say you decide to order a half size small to eliminate the extra space , I can only assume the tightness in the tongue will get way worse.

I honestly like the upper portion; they're just not as comfortable as I'd like them to be. The sole did set everything off though. The sole is what draws me into all Footscapes though.

Premium goods in Houston had all three desert chukkas in select sizes on their $75 table this past weekend. Ended up getting the yoth for $55 out the door lol

For a ds pair at least $350- but more likely $400plus from what I've seen recently.

Whites seem to be around $50 less

yeah I don't think I'll be able to find my size in either color for under $400 sadly. There's hardly ever any size 12s on eBay to begin with

Also, are resell prices these days ridiculous or what? The fact that those Rainbows from 2012,which were easy to acquire at the time, are going for $300+ is mindblowing. Even 200+ is crazy... I'm on the fence about those Shanghai wovens because they'll already be ~250 at retail (overseas) plus shipping. But then I see those Jordan Futures going for 500+ and might take my chances.

HAha I know, definitely not the prettiest looking shoe by any means. May lack in aesthetics, but makes up in comfort and functionality as do most all footscapes sans the deserts per the comments above. I own the bronze pair and even though they look good, they have that funky fit with the position the tongue is in. I use all my footscapes everyday for work since I'm usually on my feet a lot.

Some have...just search "footscape" on Twitter and you'll find them.  I think they'll be more plentiful in a few weeks, kinda how the Univ. blue were.  

Not sure how I missed them on NDC though.  Went to grab them yesterday and of course they were sold out after being there the day before.
