I'm finna start these dreads up...

Maybe you're just getting older b. As you age your hair thins and grows slower in those areas.

similar problem here, i cut my dreads after 7 1/2 years at the end of 2013 but i wanted to start em over. my **** growin slow as hell now especially on the sides, wat the hell i gotta do to make my hair grow again? i feel naked without my dreads bruh

Once I cut my dread, I aint going back.

mannn i aint never going back after 8 years of locks. damn the maintenance of them, i got tired of that crap. got to the point i was only getting mines done every 4 months. 3 times a year bc i hated getting it washed and twisted. never got used of the new twist, never slept that first night bc they were so tight.

the longer it gets and the more often you get it twisted they start to thin out at the roots. well at least for me they did. thats another reason why i went long without getting them done.

Man this happened to me. I started to have that 2chains dreads before the fame if you know what I mean.

So like a dummy I decided to cut my hair joint was all the way down to my mid back. ......... guess what I'm a bald head now.

This thread makes me feel all kinds of jelly

I want really thick dreads, thinkin about twistin up once or twice then just lettin them freeform. Would that work?

My hair isbsuoer curly, though..

It gets dumb fuzzy real quick.
How long you been at ?

Looks like your hair just hasn't loc yet.

Curly hair shouldn't take that long. It's the straight hair that gives issues. I have straight hair in the front of my head and I always have 2-3 inches of hair that hasn't loc yet.

That's really weird. The whole dread is like that or just at the root?

Yeah once every month is how you should do it. Save money and let all the hair grow. Washing it too often will prevent the locks from sealing, no? Just use SeaBreeze to clean em'.

You're right on time for the fuzzy stage bruh... I'm 5 years in now, and I've learned u really have to give your hair time to matte. You should see a change in the texture of your locks between the 3-4 year tho, no later than that.. I went through this stage as well, my stylist started trimming the fuzz when it started to get on her nerves..
