Always wanted a pair of these, 2 clean, so many c/w's
 
Didnt even see the date posted, all we seen was samples from oregonsole
 
i didnt like the 16's at all. i actually bought a pair and took them back. was waiting for them to grow on me put to no avail

JB must've really thought so. The next four models after it all had shrouds of some sort. It's really good to see all this love for the XVI. When I was hoping for a retro back in '07 and voicing it on here, there wasn't but a few guys who said that they had any interest in anything after the XIII.....

Then around 2012 this HUGE interest in the XVII started all over sneaker forums. And not sure about how true, but there was a "rumor" thread about XXs next year. If true I'm guessing it's a test run. If they do well, we just might actually see some of the later (numbered sigs after XIV) retroed, and this will be more than welcome by me.

Of course there is that one model that they probably will NEVER retro. If I find a way to get my hands on the pairs I want, then that's fine by me too. It's pretty cool having a Jordan that no one likes but you. Now all I need to do is get some pairs.
 
Yeah JB needs to go ahead and drop the black/red, ginger, and white/blue colorways. Personally I'm waithing on the XVII in the suitcase[emoji]128526[/emoji]
 
I picked up my pair when they dropped and they had Columbia's displaying right next to them. My breds were so fresh, so brand new and so clean. Wore them all the way through to senior of HS. And now they're cracking. The shrouds broke off and been outta commission for many years.
 
Did the Gingers and Cherrywoods move in decent numbers back in the day?


Local to me at least the Cherrywoods sat on clearance for a while and they pretty much had to give the Gingers away

In 2013, Jordan Brand commemorated the launch of the Air Jordan XX8 with a "XX8 Days of Flight" contest in which the winner's each received a one-of-a-kind black and green Air Jordan. For two years now, the closest we've been able to get to these sneakers were through social media, but it looks like that could all change soon.

Seen here is a 2015 sample of the Air Jordan XVI from the "XX8 Days of Flight" collection. It features the same black upper, green lining, and green outsole as the 2013 one-off, but the difference here is that these have a "Spring 2015" notation on the tongue tag.

While we can't yet confirm an official release, the fact that these are being produced should be enough to create some buzz.

Those 16's are so beautiful, i swear when i first saw them i was salty it was a 1 of 1, if these do release, this will be one of the best years for JB
