NFL Week 14 In Review...

Eagles
- Glad the streak is finally over, Foles played great down the stretch leading us to two TD’s in 5 minutes
- Bryce Brown was putrid yesterday
- As was Nnamdi but you knew that already
- First time all season I’ll give Maclin props, he killed in the 4th quarter
- Jason Avant with another ridiculous catch
- It’s not a coincidence that the secondary played pretty well for a long stretch in Kurt Coleman’s absence


Everyone else
- Ravens Ravens Ravens, swear it seems like they’ve lost 6 games this season but somehow it’s only 4. That defense is pathetic, IDC if Ray or Suggs weren’t playing because they sucked with em. BUT I will admit the refs screwed them on that reversed fumble recovery and that horrid roughing the passer call on Ngata
- The Steelers were just a mess yesterday, Mike Wallace gotta have 1342 drops on the season
- Andrew Luck has 100 turnovers but he keeps pulling out 4th quarter wins, amazing
- Like I said last week, the Cardinals need to draft a QB every round next year. Can’t believe they were 4-0 at one point, Larry has to get outta there
- Speaking of the Cardinals they are the ONLY reason Christian Ponder isn’t getting a lot of press for his pathetic QB play, Peterson is Robocop in cleats
- Guess I might be wrong about 2 NFC North teams making the playoffs, the Bears are intent on blowing it
- Horrible call in the Cowboys/Bengals game on that hit by Reggie Nelson on Dez
- Saints got WORKED by the G-Men, Wilson had the game of his life to shade some horrid throws by Eli. Brees seemed to hit a wall going 100 mph the last few weeks
- That display yesterday is why people don’t take the Falcons seriously despite their record
- Ryan Fitzpatrick doing what he does best, throw game ending picks


Is it just me or are there NO great cornerbacks playing right now with Revis out? Every single game I see DB’s just looking flat out pathetic when the ball is in the air. I’ll point out Patrick Robinson, Deangelo Hall and Nnamdi Asomugha specifically

Out of curiosity, how did the refs screw the Ravens on the reverse fumble recovery? Dude never had possession of the ball until he was out of bounds and it was obvious.

As for the Ngata hit, the rules committee HAS to look at what they're turning the league in to. At the end of the day this is football.

wasn't obvious at all to me, you act like the ball came flying out on the sideline. I just don't get how it's a catch when a receiver catches a ball hits the ground and it moves but it's not a fumble recovery when a player has both hands wrapped around it and it moves?

-Dallas started off shaky, but made some big plays down the stretch when it mattered most to start that comeback. They did a great job of moving the ball on that final drive.
-NY & Washington both winning along with Dallas is going to make these next couple weeks very interesting.
-That hit RGIII took to his knee He ended up with a sprain, but it could've been A LOT worse. Wonder if Washington plays it safe with him this week... Guess it all depends on his practices.

Are you talking about the Niles Paul KO fumble? If so, the Ravens dude that recovered it was bobbling the ball while he was out of bounds. It was pretty clear-cut that he didn't have possession.

ATL stinker was the most predictable game in the NFL yesterday.

-Bengals gifted the Cowboys a game after dominating them for the whole game .

-Geno up to 10.5 sacks and will more than likely break the record for interior linemen.

-Steelers  Laid an EGG. That Bengals/Steelers Week 16 matchup is looming right now.

-Cousins . Really came off the bench and led the team to the victory against the Ravens.

-AP. He's my MVP, and it shouldn't even be close IMO. He will get robbed, and Peyton will win it, though.

-The Cardinals better be looking right at Geno Smith right now. I don't care if pundits will call it a reach, but there is no reason for those 3 guys to be on NFL rosters.

Why? We've lost every game by less than 1 possession except to the Giants.

What are the Falcons running for? The #1 seed is all they got left to go for.... And they still have the lead in that department.

 

That Panthers W was visible from a mile away.  They play tight games and Cam finally played a mistake free game.

2 out of the next 3 should be more than enough for the GMEN, Dallas/Redskins are not winning out. With Eagles being awful and Falcons/Ravens being vulnerable....like their chances.

Ravens defense just looks off without a healthy Suggs. Flacco throwing as he is getting sacked which caused the turnover when it would've been 3 points.....guy is an idiot.

Cardinals defense is still good, they just gave up. They are on the field for 50 minutes a game with that pathetic offense....such a waste.

Cincy choked after playing sharp football for 3 quarters, lots of conservative play calling, missed catches/INT grabs.

I want to say Texans win with ease but I am not sold on on their secondary, plus its a road game. Brady will have long sustained drives and win the game.

Are you guys because Nelson most likely will get fined or because it's a bad call and extended our drive? If it's the former yes, bad call Nelson shouldn't be fined at all.

If it's the latter we ended up punting on that drive and the next one just so you guys know. And the refs called Harris down when he wasn't on a KR so we had a missed chance too.

And Cincy didn't dominate. They shut down our offense but had 4 FGs on 5 scoring possessions. They moved right down the field until the RZ then they had drops and kept getting stopped. We weren't "gifted" anything.

2 of the next 3 for the giants are atlanta and baltimore at their home. then philly in week 17. No easy ones there. Could lose all three, most likely take one.

Rams receivers are going to be a real nice unit next year. They have a burner in Givens, an underneath in Amendola, and they're developing a guy with a TO ceiling. Yikes. Any one seems like they can go off. Plus they cut Danario Alexander who's doing well in San Diego.

I also like the Browns the Browns prospects for next year.
