Gangsta rap does not apply to the other genres. You use ****** names and images to make money you should get taxed. That's the way of the world. If this same situation happened in anyone of those genres you mentioned above with people that trademarked there name, and image the offender would get got for their entire profit made of the image and the name plus damages in a court of law.
He didn't just decide to name himself a random name he decided to name himself after a kingpin and then he claimed he was a kingpin. To be honest with all the money made off of the single he could have done a little something here and there for them. Do not just out right play them like that.

I can't give you a number but I can say that alot of artist,entertainers and people in that industry,behind closed doors,no lights,cameras or action, are about that life and sometimes worse than we would think.
We as awhole,in the hiphop community have to stop feeding into this whole notion of "It's only entertainment"because its now turning into something that's said to excuse something,or letting something slide by.They say that a person can talk something into existance,I don't know how true that is,but I do beleive that if you put a certain type of energy out there,in return that's the type of energy you'er going to recieve.
Reality rap,is only good when it reflects reality,not recession-less,ciroc guzzling,name brand wearing rappers who won't be around in five years.
