I was disappointed by the lg4's too

The small improvements and cw's on the lg5's look good - I'll definitely be grabbing the camo's 
 
I don't iD running shoes so I hope they release some as a GR. Maybe on the Breathe version since there are two LG4 with the gradient treatment.
 
Is the fit and dynamic support supposed to be exactly like the 4s on these? Reason I'm asking is I have pretty flat feet and I need more support than the 4s offered so I had to pass on those. Nike's stability shoe game has definitely gone downhill since the Equalons and Triax (prior to the 16s). This dynamic support doesn't cut it.
 
Nice upper options off the bat. Want to see if those options will make it on GR releases though.

oh cool thanks illy. The background pair has a blue midsole so I wasn't sure. On iD there's black and white topline midsole only, unless they offer more midsole colors later or that's one of the GR colorway.
 
NP. You mean the Midsole (outsole) only has two opts, right? Because the Topline has 11 color opts.

I'll be ordering a gradient pair for sure, and I'm considering one with the Freak graphic.

Sucks the heel clip is one with the upper so you can't select the color for it.
 
found some better pictures of the blue hero colorway. these are tempting, and the shape of the 5 looks great

This pic makes me realize that Nike supplied the LG5s with the wrong type of laces (yeah, I'm picky)... When I get a pair, I'll be sure to swap out the flat Nike+ laces for some round ones. I wonder why they reverted back to the Dynamic Fit piece lacing system (a la FR3 and LunarEclipse2)?

Good eye Ray. I hate that the laces are all twisted like that. Never thought of swapping with round laces, but the again I don't like round laces that much. Also how effective are those 4 flywire in the middle when the laces doesn't go directly under the flywire(it goes through the eyestay where the flywire rests on top?). I guess I'll need them in hand to understand.

Not looking to buy a solid color, looks like I will have to go iD route if I want the fade option. |I
