2013 NFL Draft thread - ( Early Entrees, Mocks, Combine etc )

jay is right it was tony dungy on the dan patrick show he said it. i think it was 1st QB taken tho not him going number 1.

and it all came back because dungy kid grew up with murry so he knows him

Very true, the NFL lookin more and more like Arena league real soon. Only thing they need is to add running forwards before the snap for receivers.

The safety class is being called deep by the twitter scouts, you all in agreement with that? If my math is right then, that would be WR, DE, and S pretty deep for the draft, which brings me great pleasure given that my team needs all three of those.

a lot of teams are going to sleep on Jordan Rodgers and who ever gets him is going to get a steal.

he'll probably be as good or better than Aaron.

he should of left 2 years ago. he has really dropped off the last 2 years at OU.

you can compare boyd to wilson but i dont see how manziel is in there with them.

Boyd and wilson have NFL arms and made plays inside and out the pocket. both in NFL style offenses.

and it goes back to what u said early about if teams running the read option will help some of these guys in the draft. not really IMO because they dont have the arm for teams to fear them. cam and RG3 do.

Good point, Mike. Manziel won't be able to make those throws like Wilson/Boyd/Cam/RG3. Do you see him as a 1st round QB, though?

WalterFootball.com has Manziel at #2 in their 2014 mock, going to Jacksonville. Following up Gabbert with Manziel... :smh: :x

^no i didn't say he'd be as good as Tom Brady, but he could end up being really good if developed right and keeps progressing.

i dont see it myself

lack of arm strength and height is hard to over come and he is going to get the "system" lable put on him cause of the offense he runs.

QB, Tyler Bray declares.

Weird to me, but all the dudes I talk with on Twitter say round 2-3 grade, they have him as the 5th-6th QB off the board, tho they admit someone could fall in love with his workouts.

Saw a Byron Leftwich comparison, as well as a lesser Cutler.

****, I thought last year that Bray would be a #1 overall type guy and people would stomp all over themselves to get to him. Maybe this is why I don't get paid much.

Damn...You really don't want Foles do ya? Give him a chance, brother!

No I do want him to get his shot but Bray can be a back up plan

I like what Foles has shown but Bobby Hoying did the same thing for us and turned into garbage

I've like Bray for a while now

No

brady never had a receiving core like rodgers to help him

brady do work with midgets and tight ends

Don't matter

A Rodg wins another couple SB's and he'll have better numbers and that's what people will look at in 20 years

You can't dismiss him when he just turned 29

But that wasn't even my pt, my pt was dude saying his brother is gonna be a better QB than Aaron

If Brandon Coleman declares is there any chance he goes 1st (WR, not overall)?

Megatron 2.0..?

Doubt it...Keenan Allen or Justin Hunter will probably be the first off the board....could also see Tavon Austin going in the 1st rd in the mid to late 20's depending on the team selecting...and also Cordorrale Patterson, depending on how he does @ the combine...feel like a team is going to overdraft him due to his physical skillset

I don't really follow CFB, but can anyone tell me why Matt Barkley's stock has fallen so much? Just based off his stats alone, doesn't he seem like he had a bad year.

Arm strength, height, elite receivers inflating his college stats, more tape on him now rather than if he woulda left last year.
