I have faith in Reggie McKenzie to turn around the RAIDERS through the draft

20 minutes of dion jordan videos in and im almost certain any team that drafts him better have a strong interior line and play him as a 3-4 outside linebacker , i dont know if he could ever thrive as a 4-3 defensive end in the nfl and im starting to wonder if he should even be considered a consensus top 18 pick
post #757 of 2957
How good is Marcus Lattimore? I don't follow CFB but I heard of him and his injury earlier. in the past couple drafts Jerry hit on guys who slid out of the first because of injuries. Bruce Carter, Sean Lee, Demarco Murray. And we definitely need another RB. Plus he's on the invitation list to the combine, is he healed up or is that just a formality? I'ma about to get my Google on but just want to hear some thoughts .

Edit- nvm
Quote:
Lattimore won't take part in the physical tests at the combine. While he plans to attend South Carolina's pro day workouts in March, Lattimore's not certain if he'll do any drills in front of scouts before the NFL draft begins April 25.

Just don't google the actual injury
Each of his knees are repaired at this point aren't they?

Then again, Frank Gore had injuries all the way back thru high school and into college and has held up well in the NFL. Nothing's impossible for Latimore, but the odds are slimmer than they would be with 2 fully healthy knees.

McGahee's was gruesome too, and he's held up fairly well in the NFL, few lesser injuries here and there, but that knee hasn't been a big problem for him.

He and Sio Moore both seem to be gaining steam, I like Sio a bunch...hope he can creep up into the late 1st/early 2nd range post combine.

i dont think shariff floyd falls to 12 , florida was playing him outside too much earlier in his career

the leaps and bounds he took this year in the interior dictate , atleast to me that he'll take another

leap come the combine and his pro day......probably gonna take that momentum into the draft

and into the top 10

once they played him inside it was like night and day

saints said they're turning to a 3-4 team so dion jordan

in the superdome could be a good move

to my knowledge he hasnt been playing long , 2 star recruit

but to answer your question , i dunno ......suggest he works out with a receiver coach in da off season or something

and see if it works

I initially had thought KC would go QB (Barkley) but all this talk re: Brandon Albert & his back, free agency, etc...Joeckel would make sense - not Geno Smith.

Eddo, I think it'll be a lock come March Floyd is in the top 10 - if not top 5.

Joeckel wouldn't be a bad move. They should really look into doing that and maybe completing a draft day trade to get Matt Flynn. It would be a win on draft day for KC. Carroll would love to get an additional third round pick and others for Flynn. Especially with him and Schneiders great track record in finding Sunday starters in the mid rounds.
