Air Jordan 1 High “Black Toe” – 2013

2013 will be kicking off with a bang as the Air Jordan 1 “Royal” and Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” will be opening up the first quarter of the new year, and it doesn’t stop there. Another OG comes around for next summer, featuring the original build as the version that released in 85′. The Air Jordan 1 High “Black Toe” returns with the OG Nike Air Tag, No Jumpman and buttery leathers. Let us know if you’re picking these joints up next year

^If you're talking about the Old Love/New Love pack, I don't really consider those a proper release of the Black Toes. The tongue wasn't the right color (black instead of white), and it was cut more like a mid. The ankle padding was pretty nice though, but the 2013s will be much more true to OG for me.

^^^ yeah, but a flawed retro is not better than another flawed retro IMO. It's like choosing the lesser of two evils. In any case, I'd rather get some of the unreleased og colorways

^I feel ya, there's some other nice colorways that I wouldn't mind seeing again. But what flaws do you see with this upcoming release though? At this point, I'm not sure they could really do a Black Toe retro much better than these. Nobody is really gonna try and find OG Black Toes, so it's either these or the Old Loves if you want a pair of Black Toe Is, especially if you want a pair to rock. I'd much rather have these. I get as tired as the next guy of seeing the same colorways getting retroed over and over again, but I'm always welcome to a classic colorway if they can get it right.
