saw these last night too thought it was a super sonic thing but i was shocked when i read its a tribute to lebron never thought i see the day
 
EVERY 1, 3, 4, 5, & 6 OG colorway will eventually get the Nike Air treatment. It's an absolute inevitability at this point...

Im thinking the rep got the black toes mixed up with the chicagos in that instance but anything is possible with JB and if they do im still not mad that i copped the chicagos, they are nice i love em

You could be right but I clearly remember the rep saying yeah they will come out first like this (holding it in her hand) and then get nike air like the rest of them...
 
Yeah they were never referring to the White/Red-Black pair getting NA and no one would be recorded on video saying that. You lose your job at Nike for dropping info like that.

I don't think she knew she was being recorded... It was at some JB promotion in NYC....

Regardless, it was pretty clear she wasn't saying those were dropping with a jumpman and would drop again with Nike Air. She was referring to this pair. I'm sure at some point those will come out with NA again (probably in a pack with the breds), but people need to give that a rest.

May 18 can't come quick enough. Granted, the quality is clearly the same as the other 1 N/A colorways, which is to say not great, but far from awful too. I feel like they took the one mold and materials and just used different colors to do the entire run of 1's for the year. The pics we've seen of the Knicks, Royals and Black Toes all look VERY similar. Which means when it comes to the Shadows I'll probably end up disappointed.

New pics look great, really looking forward to this release.  I'm gonna have a steady rotation of 1's going for the entire year with these, the Royals, and the Shadows also releasing.
 
New pics look :smokin. Not feeling the SVSM's though :smh:. Hopefully my spot gets these so I can preorder for retail like the Royals.
 
The 1s have been one my fav since the patent leather 1s. So jb has been good to this year with all these 1 releases. Cant wait for these and the royals.
 
Lol it's all good.  I've owned too many shoes to stress it at this point.  JB gave me my 4's, at this point nothing else is a must have for me.

I would rather do without as opposed to purchasing what I deem to be half assed products (Chicago 1's).
