The s______t isn't censored?
When it comes to JB quality not only is it acceptable, but it should also be highlighted.

ladies and gentleman, your newschool sneaker head^...the reason we have raffles and have to jump through hoops just for the OPPORTUNITY to purchase a pair of shoes... dudes wanna buy shoes just for hangtags and "trade"

So now we are going to blame the people who buy the sneakers insead of the company who refuses to make enough for everyone to have if they want?

I wouldn't do it with my money....but if someone wants to buy a shoe for a tag then he has the right to do so.

To suggest that raffles and "jumping through hoops" is the consumers fault is ridiculousness.

Who's fault is it then?

resellers are not consumers:

A reseller is a company or individual that purchases goods or services with the intention of reselling them rather than consuming or using them

so yes we can blame them and will when a shoe that is not extremely limited is extremely hard to get by the actual consumer.

Lol not to derail the thread.. But it it's completely the consumers fault. We're the ones who buy every crappy release, camp out for DAYS . And then spend double retail to get em from a reseller.

We basically bend over for Nike/ JB.
And then we keep coming back for more. :smh:

Sometimes you just have ignore people.

Once they see no one is biting, they'll eventually give up.

:smh:

Time to start a petition to get the approval process back.

I'm down for it.

Maybe that'll deviate the recklessness and troll heavy folks.

That is the consumers fault. BUT the only reason a consumer has to do that is because Nike/JB refuse to make enough for everyone...they want HYPE, so most of the blame has to start from the top.

I don't even know why I post on forums sometimes. I never said anything about resellers, and the dude you were replying to didn't seem at all like a reseller. I guess if you consider buying shoes for a tag and flipping them is "reselling" then so be it.

//Done with that

Re-sell arguments just go in big circles. The blame falls on multiple people....yada yada yada ect...

The fact is this was turned into a resell conversation for no reason. Dude said he wanted to get 1 pair for the tag and got hated on. That **** needs to stop.

//back on topic

These will be bought. Jordan 1's are the best for casual wear IMO. They look classic with jeans and a polo.

This is pretty accurate.

As for bringing the waiting period back; it was only an option when we were on Yuku. The new platform we are on doesn't offer it; if it did Meth would have activated it from the jump.

things were still easy til the concords in stores for me.

though online things were way easier back in the day.. i remember coppin the metallic 5s online from Finishline in the evening that saturday they came out no problems.

Yep, I had an easy time with bordeaux's, white cements III's, playoff XIII's....

Concord's made everyone aware of the resell market :smh:

well it does boil down to the consumer because we end up paying the resellers their asking prices which lets JB continually pump out garbage but i seiously think these will be an easy cop and i hope that people who are on the fence grab them or they too will pay more than they are worth to have them

There still hasn't been one truly tough GR cop in the last year. With all of the ways to obtain a shoe now or at least have a number of options prior to release day, I find the complaining pretty silly. We're all buying mass produced shoes from the biggest athletic apparel company in the world. The snowflakes aren't too special round these parts.

Yes I am going to blame the people who buy the sneakers instead of the company. JB has always had the once they're gone, theyre gone approach (even before retros). I blame the beasts and kids who cop for all the wrong reasons. they wanna cop to wear once or twice, stunt on instagram, then sell them for MORE then they paid. So yes he does deserve to be hated on for copping a shoe he doesnt want just for the hang tag. That's one less for someone who actually wants the SHOE. and most of these resellers these days are high schoolers too (minus the heavy hitters with multiple size runs).

that said ive had great luck on every shoe ive gone for ON release date and only have a few more i want/need. just crazy to me the straight up hassle one has to go through these days: twitter rsvps, multiple phone calls to see when the raffle date is, going to the store to play lottery and HOPE you get a call back just to purchase. So yes i blame all the CONSUMERS buying for the wrong reasons.

Where do i sign, we need the approval process back ASAP!

So has this become the royals thread 3.0?

Anyway, I kind of want these to be pushed back, just a bit. I won't have the cash for these in may, too much to do.

:frown:

im sorry guys for the rant idk how to delete my comment so yea but i wont say sorry for what i said about buying the shoe for a hang tag thats my reason so be it dont judge me boxing me in as something im not cuz im not a reseller im not a new school sneakerhead and the reason i said trade is to get another shoe i really enjoy. i do it for the love of the sneakers and if i got a newer retro i wouldnt mind buying a shoe for the tag to add on then get something else i dont see how thats hurting a person who really wants a shoe or anyone else on this thread. BUT AGAIN SORRY FOR THE RANT AND CURSING i was outta pocket even tho dude did jump the gun
