Like I said before. Goku caught up to Vegeta and Goku during the Cell Saga, stopped training, then caught up again in the Buu Saga.
He doesnt train to give others a chance

Doesn't even make logical sense. Goku had the multiplier necessary to match him and the experience of having trained the entirety of that 7 years and more on his belt.
Gotenks at a 20?

Im not about to add notches to dudes belts because they received drastic power-ups to make themselves relevant at particular points in the story.
Gotenks was powerful, but fought and acted like a child. He'd get destroyed.
Gohan spent 7 years doing nothing and only had a good showing because he far outclassed base Super Buu and he was easily enraged. Noticed how after all that effort, the L still came creeping up on him. Cause Gohan.

when the gap in power isn't significant I'd agree training and experience can make a huge impact. But you guys are acting like Gohan never learned how to fight and forgot how to even throw a punch. These guys age 3 days in 5 years but suddenly not being active makes them completely useless? That's not the case. Yes goku has more experience, training and knowledge but what I'm saying the power gap is that huge between them. Mystic Gohan dominated super buu, the strongest buu at that point, a buu that accumulated the powers, knowledge and experience of everyone he had absorbed at that point. And Gohan (with all of those years on his a**) still dominated. So explain to me why Mystic Gohan could take on Super Buu (whom up until the point of Gohans arrival was the strongest character in DBZ by a long shot) but wouldn't be able to beat goku who has a fraction of the power of either of them. By your logic people like king kai and master roshi would be able to dominate goku because even though they're weaker they've had arguably decades (thousands of years in king Kai's case) of knowledge and experience over goku. L's given or taken aren't a sign of how powerful the character is. And if you're going to completely disregard the official source material what are we even debating for? I might as well use information from the Pokemon anime to describe why Raditz is actually the strongest person in DBZ.

Let's start speaking facts. Gohan has defeated a major villain and vegeta hasn't. FOH with the slander. Gohan has told everyone time and time again he wasn't bout that life and has still smacked kufis off. Vegeta has been training his whole life, stealing other ****** chicks to gain access to gravity machines and being cocky for no damn reason what's so ever when he was handed more L's in the android/cell saga then gohan had in the whole series if any...please direct the hate elsewhere

lol people feel the need to take shots at Vegeta and Trunks to make Gohan look better. If he was really as great as y'all think that wouldn't be necessary. What's more, no one says Gohan sucked in the android or cell sagas lol they says he's fallen off since, which he has. This is a fact. Doesn't matter how strong he was at the end of the buu saga, he's gone nowhere since.
