Official DragonBall Z Thread. R.I.P Akira Toriyama. You will be missed

Tbh, I think its a reference to old Kung Fu movies where the dude just trains and fights all day, while the wife takes care of the homes.

Word to Ip Man.

Saiyans ain't supposed to raise their kids anyways.

Vegeta and his pops were an exception because they were royalty

Lets not forget these dudes were birthed and immediately sent to another planet in order to conquer it.

They ain't never care about their kids

They both raising their kids like their fathers raised them

Goku comitting suicide led to goku dying again. There was zero reason for him to stay after he teleported cell away.
He could've gone back but then he wouldve had to be a family man and we all know how good he is at that.

This is why Goku will forever be a terrible dad. I think he probably feels like Chi Chi trapped him and he'd rather be dead hanging out with King Kai training all day than farming to provide for his seed. Scumbag moves

To be fair, we all need to be honest with ourselves. Goku never wanted to be with Chi-Chi and she did trap him. Girl literally held him to a promise he made when he was 12 years old about something he had no knowledge about :smh: Then shows up years later, when he still has no knowledge about it, gets mad at him for not having been dreaming about it for all these years, and then expects him to hold up to said promise. Goku's not a great dad by any means, but I can't hold not being a great husband against him.

Then the fact that she criticizes him on a consistent basis doesn't really help either. Lowkey they remind me of the Griffins from Family Guy

I still believe Goku should have been with Bulma and Vegeta with Chi Chi. Gohan would have been stronger and Goku would have been free to train as he pleases.

So for the last few days I been binge watching dragon ball super. I'm on episode 11 of season 3 champa saga. Vegeta vs Hit. I feel like going back and watching the cell saga now.

Major Super spoiler
Ignore the strike through

Translation:
Ep. 42 (08 May): "An uproar at the victory celebration! Facing off at last?! Monaka vs. Son Goku".
Goku and the other members of Universe 7's team have safely notched their victory [against Universe 6]. But their victory celebrations are short-lived, as the Zen'ō ("Lord of everything"), the individual(s) standing at the pinnacle of the 12 universes, appear(s) before them! And so the tale takes an unexpected turn.
Tagline at the top says, "Zen'ō, Lord(s) of the 12 universes, make(s) a surprising suggestion!"

I can't even get excited about this because I already know they'll probably just show this new guy at the very end and cut to credits.

Arale-chan (originally of Akira Toriyama’s Dr. Slump, as well as Dragon Ball by way of a crossover during the Red Ribbon Army arc) will appear in the upcoming forty-third episode of Dragon Ball Super set to air 15 May 2016 in Japan.
Oh yeah!

Arale was one of my favorites to begin with

Wonder how they'll work her in this time
