Eh, wouldnt' say Cell ever kicked Goku's ***. Goku fought him toe to toe and then gave up for Gohan to take over. Goku himself didn't take any more of a beating than Cell did. Also wouldn't really ever say Buu kicked Goku's ***. Goku gave as good as he got against Kid Buu, backed out for the Spirit Bomb, Vegeta took a beating, and then Goku finished Buu off with the Bomb.

Cell jr gave him an *** whoopig. So cell did by the transitive property lol

Just read the manga chapter concerning the Cell Jrs actually and Goku actually acknowledges that he didn't mean for that to happen with his "plan" concerning Gohan going SS2 and outright apologizes to everyone Didn't remember that. That'll teach him not to give enemies Senzu Beans.
