They need to sell the rights to DragonBall to someone who would let Gohan flourish. Imagine if the dudes who run LoK had their rights.. :frown:

We all know Gohan was a crybaby before he ever began fighting. Only in great moments of peril would he tap into his hidden power. As he got domesticated his power levels diminished so bad that Pan Chan may currently be able to wash him. Not to mention...The Great Saiyaman. (Y'all should have seen the signs of him being washed then. **** was mad corny. :smh: :x) It is one thing to try your hardest and eat L's like the homie Vegeta. But Gohan had the ability, peaked too early and squandered it for studying when he was supposed to protect the world. That is far more unforgivable.
 
It boils down to what Piccolo said he doesn't have that thirst for mayhem that rest of the Saiyans have (Goten and Trunks included)

Basically. He wasn't built for that type of life even though Goku forced it upon him. Once he got the chance he fell back (in many ways) real quick.

The thirst for mayhem is irrelevant when you have actual evil beings running around. That's the thing. Vegeta and Goku's thirst for battle has never gotten the planet anywhere except into trouble. Gohan is actually far better than both of them, because he just straight up wants to protect people. Trunks and Goten are different because they don't even have Gohan's desire to protect others, being too young. All they want to do is **** around and have fun, like normal kids.

They also enjoy fighting and training. And yeah Goku and Vegeta occasionally doom the world or universe. But because of the training they do during peace time they're always able to come out on top.

Gohan's been shown to have no problem with training or fighting when there's an actual threat, which is why I said the thirst for mayhem is irrelevant. The only problem is that Akira now is caught in this cycle where he'll have Gohan stop training altogether and somehow lose nearly all of his power during peacetime :rolleyes Even though Gohan should logically be able to figure out that training would make him far more effective when an actual threat arises. Same applies to Goten and Kid Trunks for that matter. Everyone not named Vegeta and Goku has been forced to the sidelines despite it not making any actual sense. Krillin and the other humans at least I could understand, since they don't have the potential to compete anymore anyways.
 
Don't forget Goten and Trunks are destined to be washed as well.

By the end of the manga Goten only cares about the yambs and Trunks becomes a laid back lazy rich boy.

Future Trunks is only bout that life out of absolute necessity. We know what he becomes without the constant threat to his world. End of manga spoiled heir Trunks is the same age as Future Trunks during his first appearance

Which also ties into why Super is trash because they chose some nebulous time period shortly after the Buu Saga as opposed to the logical direction of continuing where the manga left off :x making it so we are unable to see Goten, Trunks, Pan, and Uub develop as they were implied and prompted to do by Goku

Instead of giving us adult present Trunks, they give us back Future Trunks and ruin the narrative development that concluded so wonderfully after Cell.

Whats this talk about Gohan ? Im pretty sure he will gain some type of power eventually. After Cell and with the arrival of Buu he was useless, until he became mystic Gohan. I think its a pattern, when Goku and Vegeta can't fit the bill Gohan will somehow get stronger.
 
You can tell that Akira doesn't care about Goten and Kid Trunks anymore, because he hasn't even bothered to start aging them up a little since the Buu Saga :lol:
 
Just blatant disrespek for them boys. We're what, five years after Buu in the current arc? Goten is 12 and Trunks is 13?

Fair enough Goku at 12 was a ****** himself but we've SEEN Trunks at 13!! We even saw it in Super, during Future Trunks' flashbacks!

So this staff expects me to believe that they can show us a tall 13 year old Trunks via flashback and then continue on with toddler *** comic relief 13 year old Trunks in the present???? Wat????

Go back and read the OG DB manga. With every slight time skip Toriyama would either make Gohan slightly taller, grow his hair out, make him more muscular, do something to indicate that this child is actually experiencing the passage of time!!

Hell Goku too! He remained mostly a ****** but during that 3 year time skip when he went from age 12 to 15 (from the Red Ribbon to the Tien Saga) it was specifically stated that he had gotten taller.

Will never stop ranting about the trash that is DBS. My poor jimmies

One of the funniest things I have ever see. The voices are close and the ongoing jokes make it even funnier. Feels like Vegeta is saying what he was always thinking during DBZ :rofl:

Cant wait for the Buu Saga. The villains add so much to Abridged. Bill will be straight jokes.
