Tampa / Orlando Florida sneaker heads??

I wish they'd get a FNL or FTA there. I can't understand how Westshore has a FTL, Champs and FNL (though the FNL sucks).

Though I'd probably still prefer University besides bald blonde dude at HoH and camping shenanigans.

I've never been to shoe mountain. I just looked; guess it's by USF.

And University Mall will continue to be the flagship shoe store in Tampa. So certain shoes could only end up there. But it should increase our chances for other releases which is good for me, as I'll never go to Brandon.

Brandon? Unless u know something I don't know, the mall gets no heat

They were the only other mall that got the Kobe 9 last weekend. I didn't want to bother going there.

But before the renovation, I'd say Brandon FTL was #2 Foot Locker in Tampa. Doesn't mean much. To be honest your options here are University Mall then an hour drive to Orlando.

Whereas Miami has a few Nike Outlets, HoH Pembroke, HoH Broward, HoH Dadeland, etc.

Hopefully one day, Florida will have a Nike Town.

Cool I didn't know that, I have 0 interest in the 9. I haven't kept up whatsoever, but I'd have copped if it was hassle free and resell was worth it. I live in Brandon , just seems like the mall sucks. We got jimmy jazz now though

HOH at International mall is about to be prime but it won't be any different then University on release day

^^^what are your business hours. Your site says you open at 12 a.m. I'm assuming it's a typo.

And most def. I remember when Bred XI were releasing at International. It was a mess (though not anywhere as bad as University). But for me it's way closer so I'd prefer to go there than University. But I still think University is sort of a better chance at hot releases since there is the Champs, FTA, FNL and HoH (plus Hibbets and Jimmyjazz). International has just Champs and FTL.

The hours are M-Th 12-8 Fri-Sat 12-9 Sun 12-6 ....University deff has it's pros an cons but overall I do agree it's the main spot when it comes to new releases.

New to orlando and this forum, hoping you guys can show a new guy around? Really interested in the best spots for SB releases locally.

Anyone in Tampa know a place to buy SBs?

Edit: didn't see Skatepark of Tampa.

Hi, my name is Jessie but ppl that know me call me Jay. I'm a big Sneaker Head person from Orlando FL. One of the biggest tourist places in the world. For the last 2yrs i spent time clearing up my credit so i can be able to obtain all the money i would need to open a Cosignment shoe store to cater to what not only tourist come down looking to buy, but that sneaker heads may miss out on come release day can come view and buy from me without the worry of well over priced kicks. I have connects through retail stores all through FL, GA, KY & VA. I believe when it comes to reselling kicks that the person whom are having a difficult time selling their shoe can be sold through me, but at the same time should have an idea of how much your looking to make off the shoe before you and I as the person helping you sell the shoe should set a certain price. The whole Idea of re-selling anything is to set a price that's not to high and not to low but just right for everyone so that the shoe can move as quick as possible. I've seen people set prices so high that their never even bought. They just sit and over time start to yellowing and cracking and are forced to sell the shoe for lesser then first posted just to make their money back. I'm not worried that it wouldn't be a successful business once up and running because I've done my homework plus I already have a website built ready to launch also which some cosignment stores that's been in business for years still don't even have yet. And once i get to where i want to be, my goal is to to be able to get new releases through nike and other brands to sell on release day because i swear here in orlando there's isn't one spot for anyone to go and cop the kicks that you really want. What I would like to know is a ball park figure of how much I'm looking at to start up and what's your opinion about what I'm trying to do here in Orlando FL.

Heads up to Tampa NT. HoH International Mall opened this morning.

It's not a crazy restock but they have:

Venom Xs
Crimson 3s
Infrared 2s
Baron 9s
Baron 1

Kobe 9 Elite Inspiration
Detail
Showtime
Perspective

KD 6 Ligers

And other GR Bron, Kobe, KD, etc

All HoH look the same to me. Speaking of University. The manager from University FTA (cool bald Spanish dude) and the Evil One from HoH University were there. They had quite a few people clerks there.

I was just disappointed by the lack of heat. I thought they'd have the ASGs, the Suede EXTs, Denim EXTs, the Crimson Laser Foams, etc.

University will continue to be the #1 FTL in Tampa. They have the traffic, profile, etc. THERE will be more people at University tomorrow than at Brandon, International, etc.

They also weren't allowing discounts.

I picked up a pair of Baron 1s. Too bad they were a half size up. Guess I'll use them as beaters.

Just wanted to drop in and post as another fellow Tampa native, decided to sign up and switch to NT after being with Sole since '07. Haven't checked out International yet, but I plan on it soon, on another note I went down to University today and purchased the concords for my brother fairly easy. Sometimes I feel grateful I live down here and not out in big markets where people have to line up the night or even sometimes before just to have a chance at them with certain drops.

Hello everyone,

My name is Orchie, most of my friends call me O. Although most of the people I'm around now call me VA. I've been living in Jacksonville for the last 4 yrs, after being born and raised in Va. Beach, Va. Im 28 yrs old, and my mom is the one who really got me into sneakers. Being the only boy of 3 kids, my mom would buy me a ton of kicks. Ive spent my adult years repurchasing some of my favorite childhood sneakers, along with a few others. The sneaker game in jax is horrible, been looking for connections and such with minimal luck. Raffles are extremely hard to win, and Limited editions are basically nonexistent. Biggest city in the U.S. and it feels like a small town when it comes to shoes.

I feel the same way about daytona beach. That's why I cop most of my stuff online

Stopped by international hoh finally. Nice looking store. Had some decent shoes still in stock, like Kobe's and Brons & Kds.

Orlando mom and pops shops are on the come up

Where at? From Orlando and will be visiting every month starting next month. Going to check out the outlets everytime I go, and will update in here.
