Wrestling Thread Dec 17-30 | 12/24 Raw - Cena v Del Rio, Bryan v Sandow | Merry Christmas!

Been trying to find some rf video/kayfabe commentary shoots in full on youtube & daily motion but can't really find any besides a couple clips & the standard previews.

- There was strong talk of having Dolph Ziggler successfully cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at the RAW after TLC. Vince McMahon was looking to capitalize on momentum coming out of the pay-per-view. Cena interfering when Dolph was about to cash in was a last minute addition.

- Regarding Big E Langston, the feeling backstage that he is ready for a primetime match on RAW but he could use some work in the ring. Vince McMahon was telling people at RAW that Langston reminded him of Bobby Lashley.

- While there has been talk of having Sheamus win the Royal Rumble for the second year in a row and face a heel Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 29, a new name is being discussed as a potential Rumble winner – Ryback.

Vince McMahon has brought up the idea of pushing Ryback even harder as the new babyface of SmackDown. This would include a lengthy run with the World Heavyweight Title. Nothing is confirmed yet but the talk included Ryback dominating the Rumble match, beginning a feud with Orton and then facing him at WrestleMania.

Regarding the Rumble, most key points for the 30-man match this year have been laid out by Triple H, Vince McMahon, Pat Patterson and other officials. There was a meeting about a week ago where many twists, including Ryback dominating, were discussed.

- There are rumors within WWE that John Morrison may make his return to the company as a surprise entrant in the 2013 Royal Rumble match. We do know that Morrison has not signed a contract with WWE but has made it very clear that he’s open to a return.

- Dolph should have cashed, stupid Cena. He had all the momentum - all the fans behind him. Dumb. Then have AJ be his new side piece.

- I like Ryback winning the rumble over Sheamus who doesn't need to be in the title picture anymore, boring ***. Go away. Show also. Time to freshen up the title picture. Wade, Ryback, etc.

Man, **** this dude Ryback.

I'm only 22, and I thought Goldberg was the **** when I was growing up. Is this how all you older gentlemen felt about Goldberg?

^ dint relaizr scott steiner was so athletic...he could have been the greatest but he went to the big poppa pump who couldnt even move.

Goldberg was cool until post Starrcade 1999. After the strak ended he wasn't "Goldberg" anymore, just your typical monster. The Rock killed whatever magic he had left tho.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone.  We'll carry this thread over since it will be a quiet week.

Few things...

1) I just realized I never tallied the results of the TLC PPV Prediction Contest.  I will get that done tomorrow.

2) I will go through our 2012 Predictions and add up all those results.

3) Later this week, I will open up 2013 Predictions.  Full rules to follow, but I will give at least 10 days to make predictions, so there will be no rush.

Cole and Lawler talking about that there's no Santa...  I don't know what little kids believe anymore, but I have to think some little kids that watch WWE still believe in Santa.

So is Otunga really getting that much heat, or are the cheers that much piped in? That was some Nash lawndarting Rey Mysterio heat

Holy cow I didn't even realize it was Monday

I'll catch a replay later in the week.

Happy Holidays NTWT. Hope you guys are having a good one. :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

I wonder if Barrett is in the dog house for something.  He's been treated like a complete jobber lately.
