Calling yourself in your dreams..

I was dead serious about not being to wake myself up. Which I think is a sign that I should leave the lucid dreaming thing alone. Because it's one thing to be aware that you're dreaming. It's a completely different ball game when you can't wake yourself up.

I'll just say that if YOU are asking for help, insight, etc. during the phone call or any other subconscious experience it's OK. If your subconscious is asking for help then that's a different story. With the holiday season coming up and people all crazy in general just be careful man.

Hmmm. Something to think about.
I also thought it was my subconscious speaking from me being freaked out from the experience. Or it being related current issues that i have. Idk. lol
Need to try it again and ask questions.

Anyone see this dude in their dreams?

Srs.... Supposedly this creep visits many people in the dream world.

Check it out http://www.thisman.org/history.htm

Honestly, he looks famililar

One of the keys to have lucid dreams or know that you are dreaming in your dream is to press on your palm with your fingers on your other hand and say to your sleep "I'm not dreaming." Do this all through out the day when you remember and keep doing it everyday. It will program your mind and it will add it in your everyday routine. Once you get used to it, and when you recognized it in your dream; you'll know that your are dreaming thus you can start having lucid dreams. There are more techniques out there on how to improve lucid dreams. This is one of them.

I have dreams that people tell me are premonitions.. because during the day what I dreamed of pops up in different ways, the outcome is up to me tho, its like I have the power to make my dreams come true.. crazy right? Lol..

Lucid dreaming sucks.. the way I lucid dream is when I realize I'm dreaming, is to tell myself I'm dreaming, nd once I realize that the dream world is mines. All you have to remember is that speaking in order for something to happen is not necessary.. just think it. For example, if you come up on a door that's locked, just close your eyes and think you want the door open, nd it should open.. works the same way for flying. I've flown a couple times and I've brung my dog along lol.. those dreams don't last long tho I always loose concentration..

I had a friend that passed away, we were real closeI actually posted about her on myold screenname a couple of years ago, pics were included... I had two dreams about her right after she passed, one was of her at a stadium telling me to go sit next to her through a window, when I got to her tho she wasn't there anymore.. then the second dream I called her phone but it ended up being her mom talking to me, telling me how I had to let go, that we all missed her especially her fam, nd some other things.. it was pretty weird

Yo its creepy at them saying how hard it is to dial the numbers......I hadent even heard of this but litteraly last night in my dream I tried to call myself for some reason but just couldn't dial the numbers for some reason

I have had a few dreams throughout my life while in the dream I knew I was dreaming. I can recall in some of these dreams having a dire need to wake-up. I don't remember why, but when I attempted to wake up something was holding me down. Imagine the feeling of laying down with weigth on your chest and you can't physically move. I have never read up on this because I am a skeptic and didn't believe anyone out there could truthfully explain it.

I used to get sleep paralysis all the time. I learned that you have to focus and really concentrate with all your will to really "wake up", it's such a weird feeling being awake but not being able to move/wake up.

I had a reoccurring dream about two years ago, I was actually browsing NT in my bed with the TV on, it was around 2 or 3 am. I was watching the news and they were talking about an alien attack, they were following the aliens in a helicopter and I noticed it looked like my area. I hopped up and looked out my window and sure enough there was commotion outside, helicopters shining their lights everywhere and fire everywhere.

I heard a noise in my living room, hopped up with the quickness to go see, where my back doors were was completely ripped off of my house and there was fire in my backyard. I took a step outside and looked left and immediately saw a dark, shadowy figure with tentacles. I screamed in shock/horror, but nothing came out of my mouth. I sprinted back to my room and grabbed the knife that I kept on my bookshelf and ran back to kill the alien and that is when I woke up every time.

The first time I had it I woke up with my computer in bed with me and the news on, I was shook, I literally ran to my back-doors to see if what I dreamed was real, it felt too real while I was dreaming.

I had the dream maybe 4 times, and on the 4th I realized I was dreaming, the only thing I did differently was instead of going to my room for the knife, I ran to the kitchen which was much closer. Don't know why I never had it again.

I want to try lucid dreaming soon, I'm gonna start writing down all my dreams right when I wake up in the morning.

i think im also a little intrigued by this lucid dreaming bi'dnes........

what i want to know is....why ...during sleep paralysis, u must see all that ish....isnt it enough that my body is asleep while my brain is awake?.

the craziest thing to happen to me during one of my episodes....is this guy i was really into (but didnt trust)....just appeared out of nowhere ontop of me. (i still try to scream even tho by now i know its useless, cuz ur vocal cords are not up to par.....)....i just say a small prayer in mind ..over and over...and over....till my body finally catches up and i can move.

usually its just a creature trying to suffocate me....some short bish.....

Damn idk about all that, when I have sleep paralysis, I don't see anything, no weird stuff or anything, I simply can't move and can't wake up without immense focus and concentration of will.

i dont get it....whats wrong with staying that way and letting it wear off on its own.....the visual stuff is what makes me anxious .....have u ever tried letting it wear off?

You know in the morning when you wake up and are still half asleep and can get yourself back in that dream. Or even change it. Is that considered lucid dreaming? Like when you know you're dreaming?
iLLest!
isnt lucid dreaming about having control over your dreams.......sooo...prbly not?...i dunno

i always wonder how it is possible to continue dreaming after waking up. then again ive had times where i would experience 3-5 different dreams a night. douchebag brain :smh:

i tried it last night when i fell asleep a 2nd time.

anyway i remember being in a dark room with my iphone in hand (which is funny because i actually had my phone in hand). and i remember specifically trying to dial my number. was having trouble at first, missing numbers and such. as i got closer to the correct number, a noise that sounded like a training coming at me grew louder and louder, and when i finally had all the correct numbers and hit 'call', it felt like my whole body got electrocuted.

you know how some people get weirded out by hearing their own voice in an answering machine, yeah, i heard my own voice say "hello?" i replied back with "hi" and immediately this person/thing asks me the most random thing: "what am I going to do to contribute my musical legacy to the world" i was dumbfounded at first and only replied "idk". I am not a musician nor do i play any instrument. then the 2nd and final question asked me about my dating life (to which i have none right now -__-) and all the women I've had in my lifetime.

It felt like a conversation with yourself, kinda like you talking to yourself in your head when you're awake (if you don't do that already). It basically came down to me with a sudden realization that I was never ready to commit to a full-time relationship and I better act quick.

So yeah, no monsters, demons, or freaky stuff other than the electro shock after I dialed my number. Not sure if I did it right but I'll try again.

Tips? I know there are a few tips to lucid dreaming such as playing video games, writing down what you dreamed about immediately after you've woken up. Once you've accepted that you're in a dream world, you are free to roam around. It's not like in inception where you're building your own landscape, but you do get to walk around, say the things you want to say consciously.

Sorry for the long post. Happy to elaborate if you have any questions. I'm no expert, I've just been lucid dreaming a lot lately.

What about E-mailing yourself in a dream ? Texting ? Live Stream ?
... Dream Stream ?

Didn't enter this thread cuz I don't have dreams/don't remember them. The last lucid dream I had was when I was like 6.

Any info on how to have more lucid dreams? :nerd:
