Calling yourself in your dreams..

Man, I did it last night.... Unconsciously though, my dream was going along as a regular dream, then my friend dropped me off somewhere, 'm still confused as to what exactly happened so I take out my phone (I rarely dial numbers, I just hit the recent calls and hit send) so I hit the phone button 2x which would redial the last number I called, assuming Im calling my friend, and someone answers, Im like who is this, and the person on the other side of the phone was like this is Damon, who is this O_O....

At that instant, I became lucid and knew I was dreaming, i panicked and forced myself to wake up.... I was terrified because the first thing I thought of was dude begging us not to do this.... smh. After I woke up though, i was tight because I actually would like to know what would have been said on that call....

I dont think I have any horrible dark secrets that I am suppressing from my childhood... I pretty much remember all the bad **** that happened back then...

On another note: Sleep paralysis scares the **** out of me.... It happens to me very often. It scares the hell out of the females I sometimes sleep with. on multiple occasions, I have had an incident where a woman is laying on me while im sleep and it starts to feel like she is crushing me and I cant breath and I also cant move to tell her so I start panicking and my whole body starts to shake and then they wake me up because Im shaking like crazy and they're scared as ever because they dont know whats going on... smh

I dont know how to relax when it happens because it feels like someone is choking me and I cant breath, the only way I know how to get out of it is by forcing my whole body to shake like crazy and then someone usually wakes me up.

Happened a few nights ago actually but the current girl im talking to is kinda used to it so she wakes me up fast if she senses it.

some of yall who wanna try lucid dreaming, try onnit.com and order a bottle of alpha brain. they have a 100% money back guarantee on your first bottle no questions asked and you dont have to return it. use ROGAN code to save 10%. #powerful

There is no need to call yourself just try to look at your hands that is the first step. I once found myself meditating in the middle of the universe. I would waive my hand create stars, light and life. Beautiful.............

Maybe when we die this is how we are? We go to that world we live in when we dream.

I don't got the balls to do this. I like sleeping comfortable. Y'all enjoy messing this these type things.

Sleep paralysis is when ur soul exits ur body. That's your shadow your looking at. Trying to get back in the body.

Dang.... never thought about it that way before... But, if we are truly our souls, and not our mind, how do "we" stay in the body while "our souls" exit

That would make sense with the Out of Body Experience (OBE/OOBE) which is the feeling of getting outside of one's body. But in this case you're the one looking at your body and not at a shadow and besides you can move. This leads to believing in Astral projections, the existence of souls, and shadow people that are looking for bodies w/o a soul to possess.

Sleep paralysis is due being aware while the body shuts down for REM sleep (this is to prevent us for moving during sleep and hurting us) and what we see during this state are hallucinations, result of a hyper vigilant state created in the midbrain.

Told myself I'd attempt to have a lucid dream again last night when I was going to bed. Made it as far as telling myself I was asleep standing somewhere in NYC.

After I said it, I said I would attempt to fly. When I didn't elevate, I said I must be awake.

This is the second time the issue of flight has prevented me from doing much in a dream. Anyone know what it means or why?

Drink Chamomile tea and pop a melatonin. You will go into deep sleep for a long time. Always lucid dream with no problem. Try playing some spa music or nature like running water, beach waves. 100% you will lucid dream. Don't go to sleep with a negative vibe. Unless u like being chased by dog with red eyes lol

it was weird, I was about to finish dialing my phone number with bloody fingers then I awoke :\. I didn't finish but will soon

Had the craziest experience a few months ago. Started with sleep paralysis, I was telling myself to get up but I couldn't. I was screaming loud but nobody could hear me. I then had an out of body experience where I was screaming at myself to help myself but for some reason I refused to do so. I recall a bunch of bad vibes and lots of weird shadows even though the room was dark. After I finally got up and the paralysis ended I went to another room at my crib and went back to sleep. This is where the lucid dreaming began. In the lucid dreaming I was in NewYork. (I've been dying to go to NY) the second I got to NY I was literally sniffing the streets and I stopped at every pizza spot. I balled at Rucker park. Went to a Yankees game. It was realistic and i was in full control. it was honestly a cool experience but the first part was terrifying. The out of body is what tripped me out the most.

Whenever I feel myself hitting the REM stage I just get up and stretch. I've noticed I'm more vulnerable to sleep paralysis while sleeping on my back. Needless to say I sleep on my side all day now. I woke up that morning mindfuhhhct. I told my professor who majored in psychology but her specialty was in lucid dreaming. She basically broke It down to me that's it's the subconscious trying to send a message to your mind. Some chick in class told me it's illuminati :smh: I wanted to strangle homegirl.

I like knocking out snoring with minimal remembrance of my dream. Screw lucid dreaming and out of body experience and sleep paralysis. I'll take my 8 hour quietly please

Had to up this because of a recent experience. Wildest **** ever. I can't really say I've ever lucid dreamed before last week. In the middle of the dream...somehow I became aware that I was in a dream and literally reached for my phone and called myself. I knew the numbers w/o hesitation. In the dream the voicemail picked up (I don't have a voicemail set up) and it was me saying something that I can't remember. As soon as I woke up I ran to my phone.

Of course there was no missed call or anything but I'm still freaked out by that ****.

This stuff is real. Read this thread in December and it freaked me out. Had a random dream a week ago and I remember pulling out my cell phone in the dream. Don't remember what I did with it but I'm 100% sure I didn't call/text myself. Woke up and didn't think anything of it for a few days. Last Friday my mom told me I texted her "I'm at work" around 3 in the morning.... the same night I had the dream. Thought people were just trolling with all of this dream stuff but it ain't no joke.

The trick to stay synced in the dream is to spin around in the dream world.

Works everytime.

I had a lucid dream 2 days ago.

It was a normal dream, then I remembered this thread.

I had a chance to call myself, but I didn't. I got so scared and that was it. I forgot what happened next. I'll probably try this out when I'm not sleeping alone in the room.

Man I swear I've had the tooth falling out dream once as well. Didnt realise how common it was. IDC if any of yall believe me, but one time my mom had a dream and she said that her gran (already deceased) called her up, telling her to check on my lil bro because "he's cold." Mom woke up and went to check on him and he was having an asthma attack. We had to rush him to hospital and everything. Pretty spooked when mom told me about the dream

someone posted this in another thread so BUMP

I don't believe in "shadow people" and stuff like that but Ive always wondered why I wake up with scratches in the oddest spots on my back

Is there anyway we can tap into our hidden brain power or use more of it?

Want to try this just because it makes no damn sense.

What does a number, which can be changed willingly in the physical world, have anything to do with your inner self?

Like I said in the other thread, im not entirely sure why you can't fly. Every lucid dream I've ever had I flew.

The next time you have one create the sensation of gravity in reverse and instead of having yourself rooted to the ground you pull yourself towards the sky.

If you meditate it's almost the exact same sensation after about 20 minutes give or take you hit that trance weightless state.
