Why wont Nike release these foamposite 1's? VOL. after these come out im done.

which each release of da penny foamposites, they keep getting worse with da colorways, da all reds and all blacks were needed sure, but all yellow and pink?

after da phoenix suns foams, unless nike gives me these, i will not buy anything foamposite 1 anymore..i was basically done before da suns were shown

and those make sense. but these are ones that should've BEEEEEN dropped.

gimme these with a icy blue or tinted blue bottom, da penny logo wit blue AND white in da back (like da neon royals) and black durabuck and TRUE WHITE

with blue herring bone traction and im set.
 
come on OP, we know this colorway has been mentioned here on NT so many times. Nike wont release these. AS beautifyl as they are, these wont release.

I know your join date is '02, but...

It seems curious to take a shot at the "new" Foamheads, and then, one line later, ask for the retro of Foams that were just retroed in the last 2-3 years.
 
^Out of all the foams ever made by nike the best ones were 2-3 years ago thats why (royals, eggplants), i know pearls and royals came out before but who would want the older pairs and risk wearing those
 
why dont they retro the black volts ?

yes because I want as many pairs as possible for retail..

Look, I don't care about resell value, or whatever would make you think the fact that they were just retroed would even matter to someone who really likes a shoe. They could drop em every summer for all I care, I'd buy em every time.

I'll take the shooting stars any day of the week. With that being said, I'm sure Nike will give us what we want sooner or later since foams dropping every month now.

I would love for the all white foams to get scrapped and those come out instead.

Who said anything about resalel value?

My point was simply that if you're not a "noob" shouldn't you be set on releases from 2 years ago? Hell, the Pearls were on sale everywhere - if you didn't stock up on enough pairs to satisfy your appetite, whose fault is that?

You can still get lightly used OG Royals for a pretty decent price.

I also don't get the "risk" of wearing Foams. Foams are indestructible - that's like inherent to their allure? I wear Foams as my bad weather beaters for that very reason. What is there to be worried about... worried about wearing ANY shoe, let alone Foams.
 
those are clean they kinda look like the pearls to me tho , minus the swoosh on the sides . 
 
The reason older colorways don't get released is because the new candy bs colorways are selling like pancakes. Once those slow down on sales its gonna be a return of the older stuff we wanted like dooms and carbon fiber. Same thing is happening to Jordan right now. Only pairs really selling are number Jordans so time to re retro and re retro again and again for as long as they sell until a new strategy.
 
Those were basically Pearl foams in a Penny One style. It didn't make sense for them to release both, when they were very similar in colors. They didn't produce much foams back then, no one was really buying.

I can see them dropping nowadays though, definitely - along with every other flavor they can think of.

Me, I was never too fond of these. For a white-based foam, I prefer the 2002 Pearl Foams because of the gum bottom and red accents.

That's a good point. No point breaking out your trick plays in a blow out. Right now, the foam ship is cruising, so this is actually the best time to ruin the line. They threw out a couple of good CWs and nice retros starting from the first Eggplant release, which got the sneaker back on the map and got the true school heads back behind the Foam. Then, once the shoe hits that mainstream tipping point, you pump out all the crap that wouldn't have a chance if the market was only true sneakephiles. Once the Foam's 15 minutes of fame ends, the only people that will be left are the true fans, who are a more critical lot, so that's when it makes sense to break out the sought-after hits from the past - because they'll need to put out quality product to move units.

You'll probably start to get better new colorways too. ...I mean, why "waste" dropping a navy Foam now, when neon green joints are selling out.
 
Seeing that Ninja started this thread I knew it was going to be this cw.

BP made some nice PSes of these if I remember correctly.

Sad, but true. I don't see how half the cw's dropping now are, in any way, relevant to Penny (white camo? really??). To make matters worse, I feel like Nike is/was just being spiteful by releasing the Penny V.
