LOL in what world do you live where the people who buy the products make decisions about what they get? Talk to Apple and see what they think about that way of thinking! Dudes on here act like this is some almighty community that this one single company should bow down to and give them everything they want at the prices they want. Nah, this is the biggest athletic apparel company in the world. This community makes up probably 0.000001% of their sales. A speck of dust in the grand scheme. One of the largest companies in the world. You'll take their mass produced shoes or leave them, either way they're getting sold. That's the beauty of what Nike created: as long as the marketing (by them or by the public at large) generates demand, they will continue making huge money and never have to do anything on the consumer's terms.
