Jordan XI Christmas 2013 Speculation Thread Qam Black/Gamma Blue-Blck-Vraty MZ 378037-006 Updated Pa

Columbia's would be straight but an all black 11's would be nice for a change but either way I will def cop

If it's XIs, i'm guessing Columbias. Maybe it will be another # AJ.

I'm going with Hares or Carmines.

Anybody got a good memory here? When did we get the black/reds confirmed for 2012? The concords for 2011? I'm just trying to get an idea of when I can expect to know what's coming. If it's Space Jams again, I won't go hunting for them right now.

if they do start releasing the low top XIs I can finally start saving my money

never been a fan of low top jordans

midtop or nothing at all

Their is no other retro jordan but the 11 that will create the same demand across the board. JB is reported to have produced 500k pairs. I dont care if you put Nike Air on the back and or use nubuck. At 500k pairs any other retro will sit in certain markets. Pull back on production numbers then its a different story.

We should know by the end of January... February at the latest.

JB does about 1 Billion in revenue each year. They probably generated between $50-60M revenue on the BReds. That's 5-6% of their overall revenue with one shoe on one day, guaranteed to sell out. From a business perspective why would it make sense to drop a different model on Christmas? Why would you go to a retro+ CW when you know one of the OG colorways will give you 6% of your fiscal year in minutes or hours?

The reason you've seen less XI retros (lowtops being the only recurring theme and even those less and less) is because they want to keep the hype up for the one day, the exclusivity of the model. "Mike made them fly" is just marketing for "these are the best". People buy into it and to shut that down or water it down with too many XI retros or doing a completely unknown retro+ CW could kill their 50-60M numbers come next year. Be realistic about the business side for once. From a marketing perspective, they'd almost be better off icing the XI for Christmas after dropping the Columbias and then look responsive to customers when they bring it back in 2016 for the Space Jam 20th anniversary. As for the Space Jam argument, sure, JB could... but most retros go every 6 years or so and the SJ is for many the most coveted. It's the new ace in the hole for the XI line. Oh, and FWIW I really enjoy the Columbias. My 2001 pair is looking a bit spent by now, so I'd love to upgrade on those.

That makes no sense. They dropped way too many shoes for that shoe to account for 5-6% of their revenues.
They had 6 IVs that came out in mens sizes, 2 or 3 XIIs, 2 VIIs, 1 VI plus the pack, 2 Xs. Since many of the IXs were limited I will count them as 1 shoe. Take into consideration QS were released in GR numbers cept for the IX. Girls had a few exclusives, and the Spikes sell pretty well too. The Jordan SCIIs also did well. The Son of Mars didnt do bad. Took a while to sell those but they eventually sold out. And other obscure jordans do sell to people who dont care about sneakers. They just liked the shoe.

The XIs cost more and were released in a relatively large amount but 1 out of every $20 made are made from the XIs? I doubt it. I can see no more than 2% of their revenues.

Can we get some photoshops of 11's?

I remember someone posting one that had the black upper, gold accents/jumpman, white midsole, and translucent soles. They were pretty dope imo. Wouldn't mind those at all.

Just thinking out loud here I remember having the carolina and white zen lows back in the day and weren't the silver lows women's (but I clearly remember one of my friends wearing a pair)?

They converted the size they wear in womens from mens breh

Its not how they fit fam, its that left CUFF hahaha Do you tho playboy....

Ahh, I got you. Never looked at it that way . I have to, one leg is longer than the other because of hip surgery I had as a kid. It sucks sometimes. When I took it, I was just on some "let me take this pic before I forget". I was on my way out the door that morning lol.
