oh ok. do you have FL slicer or edison workflow? those are FL plug ins to help slice your samples.

yea I just suck at choppin it up or setting the parameters.

I think i'ma just work on sampling the whole month of january and see if I can grasp it then.

I've been messing with drum machines and synths for about 6 years now. There's a lot to learn, and i just want to share that the best way to get better or to improve is to practice. Get to know your instruments, and try to do something new with them, or do something better than you were able to do before.

Korg dropped these earlier in 2012, and i scooped them up immediately:

they take some getting used to, and i've had to change my workflow around a little bit to get used to their limitations and other qualities. but i can honestly say i've never enjoyed creating music as much as i do with these.

here is my playlist. so far i've put 10 tracks onto youtube: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2Ya7qDwyYeXAW6W65CIW7vnQh0IeN7WE

all sounds are generated by the kaossilator 2, effected and recorded by the mini kp 2. it's quite simple to record.

here is my favorite so far:

Anyone else get that delay when using a midi keyboard in fl studio? Ableton Live has good sounds but is mad confusing at the moment.

Also Beatgenerals.com Showed me a lot when it came to using Fl Studio

Do u have an audio interface or is it direct from the motherboard?

been making beats for years since high school
still doing it for fun but trying to be serious about it at the same time if that makes any sense haha

2nd beat tape project dropping Valentines day, hate it or llove it,

spread love

Its usb Akai mpk mini straight usb to laptop.
Your laptop might be over compensating. I had a similar problem with my Maschine Midi Controller, one reason being your Laptop Stock Sound Card isn't powerful enough, Theres many  external audio interfaces on the market i copped the "Duet 2" Mainly because its small and can be handy in mobile studio, or transporting. I went in to Guitar Center to test some out hands on and ask questions to help me better with the decision.

nice track, one thing i would recommend is cut out all the low end frequency "40kb" on your KickDrum, it will clear your mix up
