Atlanta has another reality show thanks to Oxygen Media.. a new one-hour unscripted special, All My Babies’ Mamas, from Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley, former MTV executives who have turned into show producers.

According to Deadline, the show is, “slated to premiere next spring, the special chronicles the complicated lives of one man, his children’s mamas, and their army of children, capturing the highs and lows of this extreme ‘blended family’ as they navigate their financially and emotionally connected lives.”

The man which is reported to star in the series is Bankhead, Atlanta rapper Carlos “Shawty Lo” Walker, who has 10 baby mothers and 11 kids. He also has a new girlfriend who is the same age as his oldest daughter and younger than his oldest son. Wow!

Cori Abraham, Senior Vice President of Development at Oxygen Media, says,

but those who are not minorities like yourself will see this and cast judgement on you before you eem open your mouth...

the perpetual "n_____ got a bunch of kids and dont take care of them" stereotype will ring true in a lot of people's eyes that cant separate you from the next black man.

that first show looks , but understand that from a black people, there's a difference between a red neck and a well to do white person...

i think so many black are red the "white is right" stereotype, that they can distiguish the difference.. i dont think white america is fed this about minorities. (i know you the white homey, so i'm not talking directly to you... just in general)


that middle picture i've never seen... sweetheart in the dress would receive the D, no problem...

jersey shore is kinda funky to judge b/c yeah, it makes them look lame, but they're always partying their butts off, having a good time, and not having to deal with real life issues.

^ I hear you Ricky- good point too. (and I think we all have our own versions of rednecks, the media is better at differentiating ours by far). The secnd one was "The Shahs of Sunset", a rich middle eastern reality show, and i never saw the Jersey Shore. It just seems like the media is trying to portray (and almost push an agenda of fulfillment to the masses). To push more of an acceptance of mediocrity for every individual persepctive/race/creed/etc. ...... and they tend to go to struggliing/desperate people in the industry that are willing to do it. I think they do go more for a negative image for black men to be honest, and more for a wreckless/irresponsible/lazy image for white men- with the same common goal of holding down the ones that are willing to believe it. Theres tons of examples though- Wives of........., Bad Girls Club, etc.
