Sup guys I got a pair of zoom generations I wanna bring back out. They've been sitting so the sole is yellow and you know when soles become smooth and slippery, is there a way to reverse that and make them sticky again?

Thanks in advance.

Also any info on how to some what "de-yellow" them?

I've dealt with shoes that have lost their stickiness due to age more than I've dealt with yellowed soles, but I generally wear them (gently) outside for a little bit before playing in them. If I don't love the traction of a shoe out of the box, I normally put them in my rotation for a couple weeks just to get a minuscule amount of wear on the outsole and then bring them to the gym. I did this with most of my Kobe VIs. The traction took a little bit of breaking in to get past the slippery stage, but once you passed a certain threshold of wear, the traction was as sticky and squeaky as could be.
