Chart positions after an album's release date mean nothing as far as who's hot in the streets. Billboard will not tell you who's bumping an album or tape in their cars. The label is not going to keep pressuring a station to play certain songs once the purpose of a single, which is essentially to be a "commercial" for the album has already served it's purpose, especially when said album sells over 100K first week, which in hip hop is what is considered standard "success" in album sales

 

But whatever dawg, keep posting chart positions and statistics that you took a couple minutes to google for a forum debate while I post from what I see when I go out with my boys everyday, around certain neighborhoods, parties, and see who people are bumping, what I see when I go to school and who people are feeling . . .

 

And why I gotta be a stan bro laugh.gif, I ain't even a big Meek or MMG fan for that matter dawg although some of their stuff is dope, more of a GOOD fan. I really wish I didn't choose this name smh.

 

Ahh holdup nevermind . . . if anyone was at moes' yesterday in coconut grove(miami) they played A1,house party, imma boss,amen, young n getting it and burn within

a span of 2 hours , whole crowd knew the words to all them songs ....college crowd too hispanic/black/white etc......meek is doing just fine bruh

Meek gets radio airplay.  Strictly on urban radio.  But he's on there.

 

That said, it's mostly because Hot 97 forces him down people's throats (like they do that Usher and Rick Ross song.  Why the **** is that **** STILL on the air twice an hour every hour??????)

 

But let's not turn this into a payola discussion.  Because the legitimacy of MMGs radio play would certainly be questionable.

A. They dont really care about it that much
B. His buzz is dying down

why does everybody have to break down album sales and billboard rankings...this **** is simple b.
Cass vs meek in a Battle , a beef... yes cassidy fell off as far as popularity, and meek at the top of his game
but that not relavent.. the fact is everybody remembers the how serious cass is with the punchlines.. and meek is also a battle rapper
there hasnt been a beef like this since beans and jada..
im patiently waitin till cass drop that bomb. its sink or swim for him.

That's really why I don't **** with Meek.
It's like literally, almost every Philly rapper I can think of is NICE and will eat a N_ food in front of him.
I just don't see the grittiness or hunger from Meek.
Then again, maybe that's why he's marketable and has had some success.
But he's definitely disposable. Son isn't Drake status at all.

I haven't really listened to that much in a good while now, but as far as this song goes... N' Meek reached back to that 'Flamerz 2' style of his... I thought that he went in...

Yes, we know that he yells and he shouts, that's part of his delivery... and if anyone knows about the Philly rap scene, they'd know that most rappers have that fierce delivery, nothing has channged with Meek being on the forefront, get over it...

As far as this beef goes, I don't know if I could really care about the outcome... I am inerested in hearing how Cass will respond, and the music that'll come about afterwards... Hopefully it'll be something worth listening to...
