I know collectors will hate this but how many of you can actually wear a '94 Retro? I would guess none, and since shoes are meant to be worn I don't think 2 many true collectors will be dissapoined.
 
Im assuming hes going to do this each year. Started with the banned 1s. Now the 3s, in 2014 the 4s. Limited BIN series status.

I wouldn't say so, because we should all know that the OG and '94 retroes will crumble upon first wear. It also takes a keen and experience eye to tell the difference. The OG and '94 are for sure collector items.

It kinda make sense for the JB to do this...The III's was the shoe that keep MJ with Nike & guess who turns 50 on 2-17-2013...this shoe has always been one of his favorites so why not bring back for MJ's 50th...I'm not saying that release date will be on his bday...I will not be surprise if it drops sooner in the year than later.

So jb really is doing this true to OG sh** Right now. Nike air on the 1s and on a pair of 3s. Nike boxes, as well as OG styled boxes. This could be a good thing, but market values on earlier pairs will plummet.
 
Hope the quality and shape are going to be equal to at least the 01's. Wishful thinking...

Nike air or no Nike air, I still love this shoe. I'm gonna be on the hunt for a '11 pair & if I don't come up by then, ill take a shot at these.

Maybe that's a good thing. It's about time people can get a retro product they like without having to pay an astronomical price for it.

This gives me hope that my prayers have been answered and the Black Friday release will be the Metallic 5's with durabuck and Nike Air!!  This release is great news

:lol: I can't believe people are complaining about collectors. I was collecting years ago but this is a GOOD thing, because these can be balled in, unlike the 1994 pairs. Even the 2001 retros are risky to do anything in. C'mon now.

Plummeting market values on olders pairs have no effect on JB since they already sold them. It'll definitely do some damage towards rape reselleres tho. I say good move by JB

Some folks saying as high as $250.
