That would make sense. It's looking like the Oreo 5s are the Black Friday release this year. I heard that they weren't doing the blacks because the whites were the anniversary shoe for the Slam Dunk contest Mike won 25 years ago to the minute the 88s released online. So the blacks would have no significance in that manner. Heard the blacks were supposed to drop for the all star game this year due to it being 25 years later but Nike scratched it and decided on just the whites. Again though, I only heard that, and we all know to believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear. So who knows. I'll enjoy my 01s until they crumble
 
there is a store on downtown fulton st in brooklyn that has the 88 3's

not sure of sizes or price but i can guess its either $350.00 or more

two nba players could get into the bidding war, its not that farfetched. He'd get above retail for sure on these, just depends how much he milks it. He could get 250, or more if he has patience.

nba players have ppl who buy their clothes and kicks for them, as do celebrities. It would be unlikely for nba players to both be bidding on them especially since its playoff time.

Tried to cop on release day with no luck. Paid $290 through a deal outside of ebay about 2 weeks later. Read about the euro release on the 23rd just after and thought I had made mistake thinking they might come out in Australia at the same time. Glad I pulled the trigger when I did for what I think is still a good price. I have played 1 game in them and worn about 4 hours outside of that. Minor creasing on the toe box but nothing too serious.
 
It's nothing major. Just a slightly darker spot on my toe probably from a kick under the table or something. Not too worried about it but just asking.

Damn that's probably really dirty then. You should spray some protectant on those so they clean easier next time.
 
Nah, it's just SLIGHTLY darker than the regular grey. Can't even tell. Just me picking picky.. But yeah, you're right- I forgot to spray. I should spray it down soon.
