and **** if their was only 20,000 made... shouldn't we not see any flaws in these... im still not buying that 20,000 number but it's whatever... I guess we will see when these ***** drop....
 
Someone I trust with connects to FNL and Nike said high volume FNL's will carry these on Wednesday in store. He was told that yesterday and trying to confirm a possible shipment today (trying to confirm the info today, the shipment wasn't coming today). If this has already been stated, forgive me. I'm tryin' to be helpful for once...

Banned 1's were about 8-9K. Look at the prices on those, especially in comparison to the retail. About 5x as much right now, 2-2.5x on day one. And that was about 6 months before everyone went bonkers over Concords. Considering the demand vs the supply a 20K release would definitely be limited and VERY tough in comparison to 100K or smaller GR numbers in that ballpark. Galaxie Rookies are a poor indicator too. That model doesn't sell to begin with and it came 10 months after the galaxy craze. If there is only 20K made, it will definitely make this an incredibly hard pickup for most people.

That said, I still don't believe there will only be 20K made, and I also am highly suspect that Wednesday's release is the only chance to get these.

I dont know if you guys have been looking but, Eastbay is acting shaky about questions on Twitter.  Not denying that they are getting them, but not confirming either.  Just something to keep an eye on.  Also, I have a homie who is stationed in Japan and he put me on this store called kickslab.  They have a FSR on Bred 11s, but he told me they are a little pricey not as bad as resellers but again just food for thought.  First post so, I am trying to contribute as much as possible.  I applaud you guys who do contribute.  Those FNL mobile sites updates were money for the last couple of releases.  If i ever find a avenue for true sneakerheads to cop im coming here first!!!

I already Know instores will have them ive i already had it confirmed by 3 sources in my surronding area's, theirs just alot of store that dont have information these shoes like their ******ed... believe me i've called about every store that i know of... and some of the answear i got from the employees i wanted to laugh and tell them their fulla of ****.. one guy said said "yeah we will have them, were getting them in monday" then 2 days later "No were no getting them online release only".... or i'll hear "you have to go to chicago to get them" haha hungup on him....
 
I've been a sneakerhead forever, and have lurked this board forever, basically for info I think I had a username here a long time ago forgot the password or somethin, I'm not a hype beast and not new to this, this life is just a part of me no matter how different the game has become...

I felt inclined to post because if u guys notice the patten of releases since the Concords, what hasn't restocked? Even the galaxys... So u have the craziness that was the Concords, with a quick cement 4 release... The. Galaxies. The amount of consumer complaints, police resources used, people injured, probably law suits, and all the public outcry. Everything since then has been released, then restocked except maybe cavs 4s, and other lines that we take as a given for being limited db, packages etc. even still all were pretty attainable, if this is ur thing. If ur gonna camp as long as it takes, or pay the price however u get em, they were somewhat attainable and #s were there. Anything crazy limited nowadays is gonna be online, or raffle.

At this point with the hype, there's no way I can see them sending a # like 20k or less to a store. 20-50 pairs to a store with 200-1000 ppl in line. They want press and loved the bad press, but the media and public wont continue to let Jordan live in peace havin ppl, with a large amount being teens hurt over kicks.

I wouldn't be shocked to see online only, then a mass rerelease. Online or In store raffles. Release date pushback. I'd be really surprised to see stores getting 1-50 pair depending on store profit or traffic.

U gotta realize avg emp Doesent kno difference between the 5s last week or the crimson 3s or these. Most of the people make min wage and are trolling. Call GameStop and ask for battle toads. That's how they get harassed over these. And I kno people get inside info, but jb knows the hype level going on right now, compared to what they might have imagined releasing something from 2 years ago, with a "relatively" low resale, and connoisseur quality feature, that as far as i can remember left ppl like wtf and its been wanted back since.

Slap Nike Air on the back, add $40 to the price tag and now you can feel like a true OG
 
Its crazy how this same shoe dropped in 2011, and didn't generate no where near as much hype as this release has..

Its cool that they brought back NA & all that, but Gentry should have kept his word and left it alone..

Gentry isn't part of JB anymore.He's still at Nike though.
 
Gentry yes is with Nike, but his office is still upstairs in the Jordan building.
I know this for sure cuz I just got back from the employee store in Beaverton and
got an exclusive tour of the whole works and how it all goes down. I met some
People that have talked, sat in meetings with the G.O.A.T Himself. I got to see a lot
Of heat for next year coming out. The next year CP's R nice. Lots of cool stuff for next year.
I seen AIR JORDAN samples, reversed color ways like Burgandy fives reversed in all grey
With Burgandy inner liner. An all black XIII with a dark charcoal grey shade where the red is on the Breds.
I could go on and on. So many Sample retro colorways I felt like I was in a dream. Got to see the new
Jordan XX8. NICE I like. It was a experiance of any Jordan fan, or Jordan shoe collectors dream. If you
only new all theses samples made that were scrapped. Heaven!.......
