Some of the best T.V. I've saw in a good while, all the characters are AMAZING! Made me fans of Ruth Wilson and Warren Brown.

News:
The entire lead cast from the show's second run will return, including Warren Brown (Justin Ripley), Dermot Crowley (Schenk), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Erin Gray) and Michael Smiley (Benny Silver).

Luther  star Elba recently won a Golden Globe  for his portrayal of the show's title character.

"We made our little show in London, and now we're getting this worldwide recognition of it," said the actor. "Love it."

The third series of Luther  will be written by Neil Cross and directed by Sam Miller
.

I think there's already a thread on this, my dude, but definitely appreciated none the less! British T.v. really is legit; check out some more shows and you won't be disappointed!

There actually is another thread but it's very broad and not detailed I'd rather use this one to keep up on details, updates and discussions involving the show.

Check you PM

I think of the 'RPG' epsiode anytime there is a mass murder in this country. Guys are keeping score with it.

Love this show, something about homegirls lips :smokin. Can't wait for the next season, Elba said he wants to do a movie after that..pretty excited to see how that turns out

I remember this joint was just sitting on netflix for so long near the top of my recommendations basically taunting me. I finally decided to watch it and was amazed. Incredible TV series. They need to hurry the **** up and start season 3.

I started the first season, but never finished. :smh:

I need to start over again. The 3-4 episodes I watched were really good.

I read the title and thought OP was talking about the luther from the Boondocks. Idk about this show, not a Elba fan, Stringer ruined him as an actor for me

Doesn't season three come out next summer?

I hope Alice is involved.

Stringer was my favorite character, he was the realest character on the show. This isn't up for debate.
Excellent show. Alice

I thought it was pretty good, essentially just a typical episodic crime show though underneath the appeal of Elba. I preferred Sherlock to this, but that could just be because I saw Sherlock first, and the two shows are very similar.

Nomad, Stringer was a snake tho. Unless you cool with those traits and characterize that at "real" iono potna.

Not to derail the thread, after this post lets take this to many of the "Wire" threads. His behavior was subjective, according to who's point-of-view you see it from.
Stringer never killed anyone that didn't deserve to die, many likable characters were more snake that Stringer. Stringer kept the bloodshed to a minimum and money was his concern. Avon approved of the D'Angelo hit after it was disclosed to him, D'Angelo's own mother approved of Stringer smashing Donette, and when I was younger I used to think that Wallace didn't deserve to die, truth is he HAD to die. Wallace knew the rules and it was a hard pill to swallow to see a child killed, but Omar lost a boyfriend because of Wallace's drop. Stringer's business mgmt fundamentals made MORE money that Avon's brand of distribution, and there was less killing. In season 3 it's  evident Stringer kept the Barksdale ship afloat for years. You cannot blame him for wanting to put his hardheaded friend behind bars for a few more years while he generated enough money to leave the game alone for good. This is what McNulty was trying to explain to Avon by showing him Stringer dime'd him out.

Stringer was no snake, just very pragmatic.

nah Stringer was most def a snake...

Check out Sherlock if you like Luther :pimp:
