"I played against Jeremy Lin in HS. Our team actually upset them when they were ranked 3 or 4 in the state. He was an *(@#H#$# and a little dirty with elbows. He clocked me in the nose with an elbow and said he was sorry, but it seemed deliberate. Refused to shake hands after the loss and left early. "

ehhhh it's already been said but both guys and girls can be groupies. Saw it all the time in college, and Lin was prob cordial to your face but was clowning you when the night was over.  @ clowning girls for doing the SAME EXACT THING you were doing, i.e. thirst to hang with someone just because they're a celeb. Getting pics with a random dude when you're a grown man is wack as hell. Dap him up and keep it moving. Ol "what are you doing tomorrow?" boy
I gotta agree with this guy. Lin mustve been dying that someone who was asked to hangout with him and sat next to him talked to him. Your a lame OP, once you saw it was ball players you was gonna hang with you should've just gave a head nod and walked out.

I have seen celebs and players before in there everyday life. I never approached them for pics or autographs I'm sure they get approached enough so I let them live. If I were a celeb I'd be respectful enough to take a pic or sign an autograph for a fan but I'd probably hate it deep down and get annoyed if it happened constantly but would do it to make their day. I rather have money/privacy over fame and money. People need to understand they are just another person.

Some NTers trying way too hard to look tough it's funny. Did yall read the story? It's not like OP infiltrated Lin's group just to talk to him. They were in the same group, and OP sat next to him. So I guess if you meet somebody new in a group you are just supposed to dap him once and ignore him for the whole night? Right. :smh:

Lin is playing decent...not worth that contract but he belongs in the league

Do you understand how much $$$ J-Lin generates via ticket sales, jersey/apparel sales, concession sales, Rockets endorsements, etc.? We're talking hundreds of millions of dollars. Any owner that didn't give him an offer is foolish.

Yeah most times thats how it goes. You might not ignore him but your not trying to be around them like its a chick you trying to get at esp if its just a regular dude. I don't see how that is so hard to imagine.
