From kicks on court.com, supposedly a first look at the 2014 hyperdunk.
still lunarlon? they need to go back to zoom! or just put lunarlon in the heel and zoom in the forefoot
would love to see a unlocked zoom-lunarlon combo (i know those arent going to have unlocked zoom)

Lunarlon and zoom don't belong together at all. Not for basketball purposes at all. Lunarlon just has too much give and takes away from the advantages of zoom...and would probably hinder unlocked zoom even more.

I usually play in Lebron ixs, but grabbed a pair off Nike clearance last week. I should've tried them out before wearing them in a league game. Had the worst game of my life in these things. For whatever reason my legs felt super heavy and tired even though these are lighter than the Bron. Is that the difference between airmax and lunarlon?

Is there a big difference in comfort and feel from the 2012 to 2013? I still play in my 2012's and didn't feel the need to buy this year's model...If I did, I wanted Kyrie Irving's color way.

Cushion setup is exactly the same...the biggest difference for me was TRACTION...2013 is the best out there

IMO they're basically the same shoe. I enjoyed ballin in my 12s longer than 13s for some reason. Maybe its the boring design, but they didn't last too long in my rotation. Ill prob start using em again though. I'm open to copping another 12 in the right colorway but I don't want another 13

It seems HD's targeted (heel and forefoot) lunarlon setup isn't suitable for your legs. It doesn't seem efficient in absorbing the impact from your feet to your knees. I suggest sticking with the Lebron IX.

thanks for the feedback. I'm not one to give up easy. Seems like they might just need to break in...I wore them to take a tabata class fri with my wife, then played in them this morning and they felt much better. Gonna give them a week before I give up and start cutting grass in them

They probably need a bit of break-in in your case, though from my experience they were ready for hooping straight out of the box. Hope things turn out well after a week.

A lot of people dont like the lunar-zoom combo. Ive tried it and it feels kinda mushy, and almost like there is too much in place.

feels great for what? to walk around in, to workout in, to jog in...maybe all of those...for basketball purposes NO...what is the biggest point of zoom, RESPONSE...Lunarlon negates that because it has way too much give...have you tried playing in them? go play in the Kobe V, Kobe VI, Zoom BB...then play in the LeBron XI and tell me which is better for basketball purposes...I'm not talking about overall comfort...I'm talking about response for basketball

Still no signs of a low top version?

I'm tempted to get the black/gray cw even though I still play in my 2012's too.
They have probably "bottomed out" (can't really tell since when) but that isn't a necessarily a bad thing for everyone coz that would mean more court feel, right?

Been playing in these for a few weeks now. The first time out in them I hated them. I'm not sure if they had to break in or what but they are much better now. Almost too much traction to be honest. I like a little slide, but these things just stick, which was probably why my legs got so tired the first few wears, as they became the weakest link when on the brakes. Overall still not a better ball shoe than Bron ix's IMO, but I'll finish out the season in these
