Nike Lunar Hyperdunk 2013

what area are you in and what size are you looking for? they are still sitting in a lot of places

NYC and sz 10.5. House if hoops said it can't be stock located and ordered because its house of hoops only and the sku number starts with 51 instead if 41

No it seems like Nike abandoned basketball+. It's November and no new models of kicks have had the basketball+ technology. I liked the novelty of it but I've given up on it too.

Damn .. alright preciate it (lol i just mentioned this in the fuelband thread so just ignore it)

Quick poll though im about to pick up some kicks in AM, what would u guys choose (overall best shoe):

Hyperdunk
Superfly 2
Crazy Shadow
CP3 VI AE

I see a lot of people with hyperdunks and they seem to like them. Older models always were good for me including last years. I had the CP3.6 and loved the traction and really liked them as my first low bball shoe. A guy on my team has the superfly 2 and he likes them a lot. He balls hard and often and they've continued strong for him for like a month now. I've never worn Adidas so I can't speak to the shadow. 13s I've tried on in crazy lights and DRose were too narrow for me and never saw a 14 in store.

I'm in need of some new kicks too and feel very torn. I'm a big fan of head turning loud colors but also am a fan of light weight. Nothing is standing out of the crowd for me.

Of those four shoes the most versatile in terms of position played would be the hyperdunk 2013, but I'd personally get the cp3 vi ae cause I'm a pg and they are on sale right now.

Lol i was thinkin the cp3 too simply for that matter of price. I can afford w/e but im about the $$ haha. I dont do much dribbling unless oenetrating or get a steal or something. Mostly a spot up shooter, grab some boards, and play D.

Hows the fit i heard TTS. I usually wear braces so would i need a .5 size up (hyperdunks and cp3 im referring to)

I'll end up getting more than 1 more so i'll pick up another i was jw about ppl's opinions. I did watch kicksoncourts reviews too.

kjparfekt kjparfekt yeah i like the colors too bit i was thinking of maybe going subtle but I may just say F it lol

Ended up selling my cp3 VIs because of heel slippage. Kobe 8s are the #1 for me. Haven't played in the spawn, cp3 vii, hyperdunk 2013, xx8, or lebron 11 yet but played in almost everything from last year.

We need a performance shoe thread
Yeah agreed, but a mod prob would lock it and say discuss it in each individual thread. But it would be a good place to just get all basketball related shoes, outside of the sig line, in one general place

I have 4 pairs of the Kobe 8s been wearing them casually so not sure how the traction will be putting them on court. Well i guess I could clean the sole and if the court is decently clean it should be good.

The last "basketball shoe" I hooped in was a pair from high school. I only wore them in games for a season and ive been wearing the same shoe size since 7th grade. Anyway this was about 3 years ago and it was the Adidas Bromium (I believe) hated them but they were free and the team shoe. They had good cushion around the foot but the insole wore out quick and traction wasnt the best

decisions .... hyperdunk is on NDC for $109 or grab CP3 for $99

Hyperdunks then my friend. I'm 6'3 220 and I definitely need lunarlon and phylon for cushioning on my shoes. I can't do small zoom bags:/, I need a lot of cushioning.

Preciate it man.

How were the hyperdunks last yr vs this yr? NDC has a pair discounted too along with this years.

Any significant difference

i just ordered a pair of 2013's... performance shoes options are horrible IMO. i feel like in the 90s there were tons of options. now you got HD's or one of the 3 sig's, or try a different brand. I think this years HD's are not hot at all looks wise but i know they'll be great on court. It'll be tough for them to surpass 2012's for me, but i didnt feel like ordering a pair of 2012's since i've worn mine to death.

We really do need one seeing how the new NT layout murdered performance review section

My boy let me use em once, really not pliable and dont mess with my play style

They feel clunky yet felt pretty good on feet, I can see myself playing with them more often, any specific questions you have bro?

They might be more suited to you cause im 5'11 185, i see big men play in em alot

yeah i just watched kicksoncourt bout em n dude said theyre good for forwards. i saw FNL discounted em so i was curious.

i still have a few weeks to decide what to get but trying to weigh my options. i'll more than likely buy 2 shoes and determine which i prefer. Im going to stop by my FTL tomorrow to try on a hyperdunk n see what else they have. Im sure they have good bit of adidas the white kids here love adidas (no disrespect to white ppl lol and i live in montana so yeah) but you see them in Adidas more than anything on courts

Sneaker review area is DEAD

Sadly thats true, i wish we could revive it, but yeah i cant really give a great review on em cause my friend let me borrow em

And as with every posite shoe you need to break em in first

Go with the Hyperdunks...straight out of the box they are ready to go...better than the 2012s simply because of traction...lock down does seem better as well...true to size...they are beasts on the court and hard to beat

Any of those 3 would work.  Although I wouldn't really suggest the Crazy Shadow, I find Adidas shoes to be narrow.

As for your Hyperposite question, they are good, but only after you break them in really well.

I once played in my pair before breaking them in, it felt like the shoe had a vicegrip on my feet and was squeezing it until my bones would break.  I couldn't even take a step without feeling pain in my foot.  t was so painful I had to stop after one game and take my shoes off and just sit down.  Horrible.
