Please lock this one up mods

unless we draft a safety in the 1st 3 rounds, our safeties will probably be:

starters: jenkins (FS) and nate (SS)

wolff and maragos

I'm sure they're listening.. Hell I hope they are..

But unless we get a Hardin type deal I'm reluctant to move him right now.. At least a 1st

honestly I feel like D Jax hasn't done much to warrant the type of "rep" he gets. I'd have to trust chip though, if he feels like they are still a potent O without him, then I guess that's the direction you go. Unless they are just asking for a 3rd and trying to package some picks to move up and draft a stud WR? I just feel like D Jax gives that AI vibe, small guy but plays his heart out, swagger, etc. Welps...

Where did all this DJax talk come from? I've been on BGN, reddit, and all those other places. I just don't understand why....I don't like it. :smh:

If a trade happens. This could backfire big time on us.

I dont like it

Not one bit

same here but it sounds like its inevitable :smh:, if all they get is a 3rd round pick that will be even more of a disappointment

Eagles "insiders" aka "sources close to Desean" aka no one who'll come forward in front of a camera

Vick's farewell letter to Philadelphia:

I would like to thank the Eagles and the entire city of Philadelphia. I was honored to be their quarterback and took the privilege to heart every day. I especially want to thank Jeffrey Lurie and Andy Reid, who gave me the opportunity. I want to thank my teammates, who were not just coworkers, but friends. I also want to thank the millions of fans who cheered and supported our team.

People say Philadelphia fans are tough. I say they are fair. A player is not judged solely by his past or promises of the future, but by his actions today, and the next day, and the next.

In my time volunteering, I have met Philadelphia's heroes. I've met at-risk children with few resources, but with teachers tirelessly helping them make the most of a second chance. I've seen the work of volunteers at school fund-raisers, food drives, after-school programs, hurricane shelters, Toys for Tots campaigns, Boys and Girls Clubs, and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and the meaningful work of the Humane Society of the United States. I've seen children choosing the mentorship of a football coach over peer pressure on a street corner. One of the best examples of a community deserving a second chance is the North Philadelphia Aztecs youth football team. As the players step onto Team Vick Field, they can hold their heads high and be proud that they are making Philly stronger.

The Eagles are an outstanding organization with a bright future, and I'm thankful for all the friendship, love, and support they gave me and my family. I look forward to seeing great things from them both on the field and in the community.

Vick is done IMO but I can't say that I'm not happy we gave him a chance and he reformed his career and life

Vick is a quality human being IMO

Man, kevin kolb was our qb for the foreseeable future, vick stepped in and gave us hope, and brought excitement. We were on a road to the bottom with Kolb :smh:

I get that but Vick didn't save anything; he made us slightly less mediocre

We made the playoffs that year when we wouldnt have, we'd still be lost if it wasnt for him. But hey, no need to argue with a fellow eagles fan

I loved the time that Vick spent here, the first half of that 2010 season was some of the funnest football I've ever watched. I'll never forget that MNF game in Washington  :pimp: I hope he does well in NY

I really don't want the let DJax go but if he's going to be a distraction and unhappy with his deal then I don't see a problem letting him go, especially after getting a new deal 2 years ago :smh:

I'm not arguing

2010 was awesome but I think I was so spoiled by the McNabb run even though it didn't end in a Super Bowl, it annoys me that Reid never got McNabb any receivers outside TO that one year because if he did, I fully believe we would have at least one SB in this town :smh:

Seeing reports about this surprised me. Are him and Kelly really not on the same page? I never saw anything that would make me think so.

I thought the same thing, Chip's offense is perfect for him I don't see why he would have a problem and it would really suck to lose him

But the fact that these rumors have been circling for a week now and neither Desean or the organization has come out and denied them leads me to believe there is a problem.
I just don't understand why, Desean got the new contract he wanted 2 years ago and I think he's a top 5 paid WR so I can't figure out what else he wants :smh:

I am siding with the Eagles on this one

I think they will be fine; I mean there are 9 first round grade WR's in the draft and not all 9 will be going first round

I personally want Lee

Disagree

Djax opens up everything for our offense.

The guy put up his best numbers statistically

If you wanted to go that route we shouldve dumped cooper and replaced him with one of those wrs

One of our strenghts in the reciever core is now a question mark.

Draft shouldve been solely on defense side of the ball with our holes.

We wasting a pick on a reciever early now that is not guaranteed.

I bet everybody in the NFC East is salvitating at the thought of no more Djax.

Pending L when he gets traded/cut until proven otherwise

@ the thought of him getting cut :x :smh: :smh: :smh:
