I'm upset too, but then I look at his salary and the draft and I'm actually a little excited. We were supposed to be over the cap for next year, but now we're under thanks to the cut and I wouldn't mind an Allen Robinson or Brandon Coleman in the second/third rounds. Plus, apparently dude was affiliated with gangs and Chip didn't want that type of culture. I'm totally fine with that. I wish him the best.

We have plenty of size at the wr spot Moncrief is 6'3 with really good speed ,Adams is 6'1 and well put together, a very good route runner imo.
I seen Robinson get chased down by linebackers that doesn't translate well to the NFL.

We also have Benn coming off his injury +whatever receivers we take in the draft + Celek and Ertz , and Sproles coming out of the backfield, and not to mention Shady. I think we'll be alright. Sucks we couldn't get anything for him though.

i think our offense will be fine.. my biggest concern is depth..
i think chip's original plan was to go a ton of 2 TE with casey lined up as an H-Back/FB.. but when he saw that avant was a ready and able blocker he used alot more 3 WRs sets
no with having sproles.. i could see us using primarily mccoy, maclin and cooper.. then go with 2 TEs (celek and ertz).. and we shift out sproles or casey

I think they did try... Either other front offices knew something was about to come out and didnt want him OR when a team is shopping a star player they must have figured that something fish was going on and stayed away. And teams not biting on the trade made the right decision, because now a team that wants him will get him for a fraction of the price.

Heard on ESPN but don't remember who said it but they tried. But they couldn't find a trade because teams didn't want him because of his salary for this year. What's interesting is that Desean was basically on a 1 year contract. Supposedly his cap # for the 2015-16 season is around $15 mil and the eagles weren't going to pay him that.
